Coming from someone who lives with anxiety, Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi)'s performance when her character is experiencing anxiety is so accurately portrayed. (ex. When she loses her empathic ability.)
Her stiff stature, the tension, discomfort, and fear in her face & body as she moves and talks. The difference in the way she acts & talks to people. The "don't cry don't cry, dontfuxkingcryrightnow" in her eyes. Anxiety is internal, and she flawlessly established that notion.
Her portrayal is not some embellished physical display of panic and what people think anxiety feels like internally, it's an authentic representation of what anxiety looks like from the outside.
This is important.
