Frankenstein describes the creation as "His limbs were in proportion" but later, Walton states that the creature is "distorted in its proportions" and it's only just occurred to me that Frankenstein could simply have been lying about how well he laid out the creature's proportions.
And now for something different…
Mr. Merlin Crossover
Walton plays sappy music for Victor and Adam’s emotional heart-to-heart.
Victor and Adam stare at him, very unappreciative of the disruption.
So this is an absolute madcap idea but here it is anyway
With the original Frankenstein novel, the framing device is a series of letters Captain Walton is writing to his sister. The entire story itself is a cautionary tale on hubris and neglect. However, Captain Walton’s sister, Margaret, gets the wrong idea and tries to make her own version of the creature.
While she is barred from attending a university for surgery, she has read several books. (The way I picture her creating her creature is in a similar way to those amazing works of art featured with the caption “this was supposed to be just a sketch”) and unlike Victor, Margaret greatly cares for her creation, teaching her how to talk and read and all about the world itself. And whenever the Waltons do go out, they just say that the creature is a distant relative or cousin.
And for the sake of this story, let’s say that Victor’s creature decided to keep on living and is just walking from place to place all on his own when he stumbles upon to Margaret’s creature. And while she is immediately enchanted by his eyes (& the fact that there’s someone just like her), victor’s creature is unsure of how to feel. He finally got the companion he wanted, but is it too good to be true?
Essentially I can imagine the entire thing just being a gothic comedy of errors
all victor frankenstein knows how to do is lay on the floor of a boat and cause problems
[image ID: three digital illustrations of victor frankenstein, drawn as a thin young man with pale skin, brown hair, and blue eyes, laying down on his back in similar positions on the floors of three different boats. the first image is sunny and victor is clean-shaven, has short shaggy hair, and is dressed in a suit and tie. he is smiling at clerval, drawn as a thin young man with pale skin, wavy ginger hair, a moustache, and dark eyes, who is gesturing enthusiastically above the two of them as he talks. the second image is dark and victor has stubble, longer hair, is dressed only in a shirt and slacks, and is gazing up in twisted fear, his eyes streaming tears and reflecting teal in the dim. his hands and clothes are stained dark red and in the dark water around him dismembered limbs and chunks of flesh float around his boat. the third image is bright and coldly lit and victor has long hair, a short beard, is wearing a fur-lined coat with clinging snow, and is frost-bitten, gazing up hollowly with his brow drawn tight. several people are gathered around him, most only with boots visible, save for captain walton, drawn as a man with light brown skin and black hair in a blue captain's uniform, who is knelt at victor's side with his hand hovering over victor's shoulder. end ID]

As I said before, I'm reading the Portuguese translation of Frankenstein, and I need everyone to know that in the portuguese version Captain Walton calls Victor's eyes "lindos e adoráveis", which translates to "pretty and adorable"
may i humbly beg for a crumb of captain Robert Walton 🤲🏻
Ofc anon always everyone it’s silly man
So, Frankenstein; but Victor came back as a zombie.
This AU takes place after the original novel, and Hyde decided it was a smart idea to bring Victor back from the dead. Oh, and to make matters worse, there is a curse in the Frankenstein family bloodline where you cannot die once you become undead. Just like the izombie show, Victor has to eat FRESH brains to retain his humanity, but get visions of how the victim died.
This AU is a crossover between Frankenstein, and the Netflix show IZombie.
