I’ve been asking people around Rattay what they think of Hans. It’s actually so sad that no one has a positive thing to say about him except for Captain Bernard. All the townspeople dread him coming into power.

Bernard acknowledges his faults, but he also says Capon’s no fool. He believes he’ll improve, which is much more than most is willing to give him.

Theresa’s was the second nicest one I’ve seen so far. Pretty neutral compared to others.

Do you think Hans’ reaction to Henry being trained by Bernard could stem from the fact that the captain is the only person who doesn’t write him off as a failure, and so he’s jealous of the attention? The new kid is taking up all the attention of my parent kinda tantrum.

It’s really nice of him to not put us in the stocks for what Henry said. Totally his fault. Henry really has no common sense and self preservation instincts. Crazy boy.
