I literally mentioned it in my previous post and Iâll do it again because the implications- : Henry can steal Hansâ shield from Zizka at Nebakov while Hans is talking with him, and when he gives it back to him at Trosky, Hans immediately says that Henry should keep it. Like, Hans is away from his forever home, has barely escaped death multiple times, his whole retenue died and heâs in the castle of one of the most powerful men in Bohemia whoâs also a cunning and menacing member of the League of Lords - his houseâs enemies - whose chamberlain almost had him HUNG the day prior. And when Henry comes back with him with a piece of Hansâ home with his colors, a piece of safety - a SHIELD - Hans replies :
Because home isnât the Rattay colors anymore. Home is the man whoâs wearing them. And also, it matters less to Hans to have this piece of Rattay and more that everyone knows that Henry belongs to him. Insane man.
And even if Henry refuses :
Hans finds a way to deeply compliment Henry anyway. Basically youâd rather I wear my own colors, Henry - that makes sense. But know that it makes no difference to me whether I wear them or you do, because who I really am is the man I am when Iâm with you, not when shrouded in yellow and black.
