One of the hard things about writing is when you’re the kind of person that when you talk you use rapid hand movements and deep guttural noises in the middle of sentences, and you can’t write that like, “And during the time of the Vandals reign, the chaos of other realms become deeply” *waves arm in front of me and makes a hacking noise, resembling a choking country stopped by foreign savagery.*
The best pages that taught me about writing the most were my scrambled pages in the dustbin. Those pages taught millions of ways how NOT to write to make me write what I had to write.
