see, from the opener of the movie, you think kwei always has the advantage, but that was Kwei trying to TEACH Dek, actively. He either had to train Dek to live or die. It was controlled, though no holds barrel, in order to best give Dek a sense of urgency.

.....but when you ACTUALLY fight your siblings lmaooo logic and pageantry go out the WINDOW. Kwei over-corrects HARD, he tries to grapple and lock Dek, perhaps with the aim to keep him trapped long enough to calm down, but Dek is scrappy and small and he literally has to be choked out (something he knows kwei wouldnt do) so he plays DIRTY. he bites and elbows his big brother where it hurts, meanwhille kwei is so offended that his anger boils over inelegantly for once and the pair dissolve into a ridiculous ball of petty blows

grown ass yautja males rumbling and tumbling on the ground while Thia cries about how they love each other stop fighting and Bud thinks they're playing so she's sneezing up a storm.
