🏠 house is grumpy and the ducklings find it highly amusing, especially because they know he can go soft for them just like wilson

🩺 like he’ll sit on the couch reluctantly playing patient for them and cameron will snuggle in his side

🐣 and he’ll just roll his eyes and put his arm around her. foreman and chase don’t get the same treatment as often because they are much more interested in teasing him

🏠 wilson is in charge of food. house cannot be trusted to make anything than isn’t, like, eggs. or sandwiches. not because it’s a fire hazard or anything—he’s a grown man, he can cook—it’s just that the ducklings refuse to eat chicken that somehow tastes like rubber

🩺 cameron is the youngest and the boys are protective of her, but in a ‘no one can be mean to her but us’ sort of way

🐣 the ducklings and hilson have a scheduled time for regression/caregiving once a week. this is so nothing accidentally occurs during work hours, but it can’t be more than once a week due to the fact that they have busy jobs and personal lives outside of each other

🏠 wilson gives chase piggy back rides but can only manage for a few minutes because of his “old man back” (as chase complains)

🩺 foreman is the oldest, landing at around ten most days, but can go younger. most of the time he wants to be in an armchair reading a storybook rather than playing with cameron and chase

🐣 cameron and chase absolutely love dress up and try to drag everyone else into it. on these such occasions, you can often find house grumbling with a plastic tiara stuck in his hair, wilson in a tutu much too small for him, and foreman getting his fingernails painted (willingly as long as he is not disturbed in his reading.)

Wry & Guarded: Quick with sarcasm and slow to trust, he hides his vulnerability behind biting wit and an unshakable poker face.

Dogs – Grew up with one in his earliest memory. Still stops to pet strays and donates to rescue shelters when he can.

Black Coffee & Cheap Cigarettes – Not great habits, but they’re his. Coffee keeps him sharp, and cigarettes keep his hands busy.

Puzzle Boxes & Cold Cases – The harder the mystery, the more satisfying the solve.
