What does a camel say?! Well, actually it's rather terrifying... 'Camelus. The White Tartarian, or Domedary.', was engraved on copper by J. Chapman, for "Encyclopaedia Londinensis; or, Universal Dictionary of Arts, Sciences, and Literature, Comprehending, Under One General Alphabetical Arrangement, all the Words and Substance of Every Kind of Dictionary Extant in the English Language" by John Wilkes. It was published by J. Adlard out of London on March 16th, 1799. This print measures 11 1/8 x 8 1/4 inches. This handsome fellow makes us miss our days of living in Dubai and seeing these beautiful creatures on a regular basis. The attempt at making the camel appear fluffy makes for an interesting perspective; it's very whimsical. 🏜🐫🏜 #camel #camelus #dromedary #camelshump #camels #deserts #desertlife #desertanimals #wildlife #wildlifeprints #natureprints #animals #animalprints #antiqueprints #antique #rareprints #vintageprints #wallart #walldecor #uniqueart #originalprints #collectors #collectables #arthistory #homedecor #interiordecor #gallerywall #designdetails #seetheworld #explore
