The Public Alpha for It Begins is out!
"Peace" and "Apocalypse" don't go well together.
The common dwarf mongoose (Helogale parvula) is a small, highly social mammal native to sub-Saharan Africa, typically measuring about 15-20 centimeters in length with a bushy tail and weighing around 210 grams. Known for their active and curious nature, they live in large family groups called mobs or clans, which work together to forage, guard against predators, and care for their young. They primarily feed on insects, small vertebrates, and fruits, and are known for their vigilant behavior and complex social structures. Their adaptable nature allows them to thrive in a variety of habitats, including savannas, grasslands, and semi-deserts.

A small Indian mongoose (Urva auropunctata) pup in Kapolei, Hawai'i.
As the common name suggests, this species is native to South Asia, however has been introduced to several areas such as Jamaica, Puerto Rico, and Hawai'i.
