6. what's an old song that you discovered this year?

farewell, angelina by joan baez — I didn't know her before watching a complete unknown at the start of the year but I immediately fell in love with monica barbaro's portrayal and loved this song in the movie and immediately went home to listen to her "the newport era" compilation album!

7. is there a song that you initially didn't like but grew on you over the year?

take a sexy picture of me by cmat — it's not that I didn't like it, but I'd heard the chorus a thousand times on instagram and was just uninterested, but then after coming across a different song of hers (when a good man cries) via a playlist I was prompted to actually listen to the whole song and realised I liked it as a full song (also then found 'lord, let that tesla crash' which is absolutely my favourite on that album)
