It was all a matter of personal preference. Since it’s my senior year, I didn’t want to be completely stressed because I would have ended up taking five AP classes, so I decided to simply take honors calculus. In my school, the honors class typically covers the majority of the material in AP calculus, and the honors teacher (from what upperclassmen have told me) is a better teacher than the AP teacher. Also, the AP teacher has only been teaching the curriculum for 1 year, so I was worried about her inexperience. I have been debating about whether to take AP calculus or honors for the entire second semester of my junior year, but I ended up with the choice that my mental health is more important and that I would be happier in honors calculus in the end. c: calculusbc
