You are right about Chisato (and also Kanon) but I feel like we are forgetting how much of a wild card Hina can be. Hina will probably just initiate the kiss without saying anything, and Chisato could try to scold her and talk about the importance of consent, but Hina will respond with something like "but you do want to kiss me too" and Chisato can't really deny that
Also imagine Hina in an interview (thanks game for making it canon that Hina just say whatever): It's hard to understand people, they can be so different sometimes, like I can always just kiss Eve, but I have to ask Maya first or she gets too nervous, and also mad at me, Aya I can tell her on advance a week before I do anything and she still will be nervous"
Chisato is backstage wanting to kill her for giving TMI, but she keeps going: "I still don't get Chisato, she complains if I kiss her without saying anything, but once I asked her if I could kiss her and she said "I don't know, can you?" Iâm glad that the most recent event made it so that not only is it canon for Hina to run her mouth during any question she receives ever but also that Chisato will her go for a hot minute because sheâs panicking and desperately trying to get her back on track before she spills even more of the groupâs beans. So you got Hina whoâs blabbering on and on about how much she likes to kiss all the other girls in the group and Chisato fucking running up from behind and grabbing Hina and staring directly in the camera: âIâm sorry it looks like something urgent has come up, it is time for us to leave, farewellâÂ

Theyâre based on a -real- barrel called schandmantel once used by civilian authorities to publicly humiliate certain criminals (umiliate, not torture!), barrels that had no metal spikes at all until -wait for it- the late 1700. The maidens, inspired by those barrels were then created to evoke a false âgothic, horror middle ageâ aesthetic that was liked in that period and well into the victorian era (think works like the Castle of Otranto).Â
Then they were used to push that âbooh, cruel and barbaric ME Church! Boooâ anticlericalism, but even in late 1800 historians were already calling bullshit on the Maidens as middle age inventions (as if Me people had any intention to waste so much invaluable metal for torture purposes! A rope was more than enough to inflict pain and costed nothing).  Â

if mayaâs annoyed that sheâs basically got a big joke on her arm, then kuro... actually doesnât care too much. sheâs got lots of antics to get up to in paris after all, n it helps that her words are on the nape of her neck, where she canât rlly see them. out of sight, out of mind. oh, sheâll spare a curious thought or two about what kind of person her soulmate is, to say something as dramatic as âif that is what you wishâ in this day n age, but for the most part kuro has other things to worry about--like whoâs going to take her back from the park, if theyâre going to visit papa in tokyo over her momâs spring break, whether or not sheâll make the audition for louâs
