also can i just say. wild to me that intention magic is basically lucid dreaming but irl, which leaves me with Questions:
as someone with the ability to somewhat lucid dream, would i be at an advantage in learning/controlling intention magic?
as someone whose lucid dreaming seems to mostly be held back by a lack of awareness, waking up too soon, and most importantly, hypophantasia, would that last thing be a detriment to using intention magic or would intention magic potentially improve my lucid dreaming capabilities?
if someone lucid dreams would it be possible for them to accidentally use intention magic in their sleep? if an intention magic user has a nightmare could they inadvertently create a nightmare realm with them at the center until they realize that they're dreaming and wake up? (excellent horror fic potential there imo)
If someone was having a Really Bad Time and was fully convinced everything was out to get them, would intention magic speed up the process of that becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy? (excellent character angst/tragedy potential in there if so! amplify all your blorbo's worst fears into apocalyptic catastrophe!!!)
would someone with aphantasia struggle more with intention magic, or would they potentially have an easier time because they're not stuck in their own head trying to visualize it, they're just wanting and then doing with no "how" inbetween?
idk there's just a lot of cool worldbuilding questions/ideas around the concept of intention magic, and I love it as a system. It's simple and succinct but still leaves a lot of room to build more around it and i can't wait to see what the MQ fandom does once there's enough of us to actually like. collaborate on it :D

so because of the wombo combo that is hypophantasia and a dogshit grasp on anatomy, the beginning of a drawing by yours truly doesn't begin with a sketch like it would for a regular person.
it begins with a reference photo that i cut out and manipulate until it passes well enough for the slightly adjusted new pose for me to trace directly over it.
downsides: the part of me that worries this is 'copying' or some shit will NOT shut up about it, finding the right stock photo and adjusting it is a Process; the stock photo has to be preserved to some degree in order for me to keep referencing it, the perspective tool in ibispaint only gets you so far
upsides: i am getting Unreasonably Good at this, it seems to be gradually helping my anatomy understanding even if it's still pretty bad, i get a preview of my art before I even start laying lines down, and also. i seem to actually be very rapidly improving now?????

I block liberally for a variety of reasons, all the way from bigotry to annoyances to regularly posting Harry Potter bullshit. I have a zero tolerance policy. If you put Queen FART-face's media on my dash, knowingly and willingly, I will block you.
I try to keep up on politics and how to best respect people whose experiences I'm unfamiliar with, but I definitely still have blind spots due to a variety of factors. Please point them out to me if and when you see them, and I'll do my best to verify and solve the issue.
I do my best to add alt text / IDs when I'm able to, but I don't always have the energy/wherewithal. If you reblog a post of mine adding stuff like this, I will be forever grateful.
Similarly, I do my best to add content warnings for both common triggers and things that I've been told are triggers for people close to me - that said, sometimes I either don't have the energy or I'm just straight-up so taken aback by the horrors of the original post that I can't figure out what to tag it with. If you want to add a content warning, go ahead - but if you're an ass about slur reclamation I won't hesitate to block you.
