Lola Rider has been shot down a lot recently. However, there was a glimmer of hope! She had met the delicious Jeffery Dean! They were dating! They woohoo’d in a shower in the middle of a house party! So, like, super official!

Then he starved to death the next morning. Death mocked her pain.

So. About my new aquarium lol.

I got it second-hand from Ebay, right?

The dude who sold it to me was an absolute CUTIE and HOTTIE by the way, but easily 4-5 years younger than me with a gf, so sadly a No-Go. Hrm. Not the point.

The point is, Mr. Dark & Clean & Friendly Stylish Edge Lord Gym Bro sold me an aquarium fairly representative of his lifestyle, as happily illustrated below:

It wasn't...bleak. Like. The guy was absolutely trying to be nice to his fish. The water was clear & the tank worked as an ecosystem. It was just. A whooole different aesthetic than mine. I hated the algae.

So. As I tried to make it a bit more accommodating and welcoming as per the vibe of my own home, I redecorated and spent quite some time picking out what to keep from nice gym bro's tank and what to change. And I changed quite a lot. Was super satisfied with my progress. (Still am, it's obviously not finished yet.) But then. But since then I have suddenly come to realize something. Something terrible. Because as I was trying my best to make an amazing home for my new fish, unfortunately this right here happened right under my nose and it's as amazing as it is equally as SAD and PATHETIC as the tank that came before:

It's just. A moss ball. One ball. Of moss. Being the main plant in there.

I put so so many plants in there??? at least that's what it feels like??? But they're sad leftovers from the old tank that still need to recover and grow, so they're rather tiny and scattered and do NOT make for a lot of visual greenery (yet)

So whose tank is worse, huh??? Tell me, whose tank is the frick worse???

The one of Hot Gym Bro Edgelord who at least put a lot of effort into giving his fish proper living quarters, or mine, by me, who, out of pure and strained artistic artistry put

A SINGLE MOSS BALL

I know you’re scared. You’re easily frightened buy loud and stupid things. You’re easily get intimidated by boastful and conceited CSB students. You’re too anxious because you’re not good. And I know you feel like crying everytime you think of that- but you don’t.

See, you’re somehow brave. You can do this one. Ngayon pa ba? When you feel like you’ve come this far? When you feel like everything was in the right place. Ngayon ka pa ba susuko? Don’t. You can do it. You’ve already done many impossible things, (well, not you, but God) you’ve acquired many burns and knife cuts, you’ve encountered different types of people, then you want to stop now? Don’t be silly! You wouldn’t be in that place if it’s not for you. You have to have a strong heart. You have to set your goals and look straight at it no matter how bumpy the road you’re taking is, no matter how people think you’re not good. You have to be good. You have to do things fast. But please, don’t be too hard on yourself. I know you’re scared. I know you are. Because I feel what you feel.

You’re a scaredy cat because you think low of yourself. Because you feel that’s what they think of you. But you have to remind yourself that this is a part of growing up- a partof learning. Don’t slack. Remember, you don’t want the mrt officials to slack? Think of it too. Everytime you’re inside the workplace. Every freaking time.

When you feel like shitty, drink water. So that those thoughts will somehow be cleansed in your brain. You’re not, Joy. You’re so not.

You have to pray. You have to remind yourself that you cannot do things without Christ. Just like what you did before. He never failed you, right? So do it again this time and everytime ‘cause he will never ever fail you.

Apologize and never do that mistake again. You have to learn your lesson. You have to be sure to what you’re doing because it will reflect you. Sure it will.

Always smile. It may impress other people that you’re too good, but what’s wrong about being too good. Don’t be like the people you are scared of. You have to smile even if you’re scared. You have to smile even if you feel intimidated. Don’t forget to smile. It is a must.

I don’t know what else to say to you. Just be good and do good at work. Strengthen your heart (I don’t know how to)

I know you don’t have someone to talkto with these matters, but I’m here. And, booooo! You’ll meet someone who will listen to you. It may not be today, but yeah, soon.

The second grader who will say, “What happened to your hair?  It looks like you forgot to brush it today.”

And the Kindergartener who will run up to hug you in the hallway and say, “Ms. Andsoshespins, I like your hair today.”
