On December 9, 1905, the opera "Salome" from Richard Strauss was performed the first time in the Royal Opera House in Dresden. Here we see the first original text book, which was printed shortly before the premiere as a manuscript for the stages. The postcard from 1897 shows the opera house at this time. Marie Wittich sang the first Salome and the autograph card shows Carl Burrian, who sang the first Herodes.
