Ingredients: 4 burger buns. 4 beef burger patties. 4 slices of cheddar cheese. 1 onion, thinly sliced. 1 tomato, sliced. 8 lettuce leaves. 1 cup potato chips. Salt and pepper to taste. Ketchup and mustard for topping. 4 tablespoons mayonnaise. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon onion powder. 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Vegetable oil for frying.
Instructions: Warm up your grill or pan on the stove over medium-high heat. On both sides, season the beef patties with salt and pepper. Burgers should be cooked for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side on a grill or pan. If you like them well-done, cook them for longer. In the last minute of cooking, cover each patty with a piece of cheddar cheese and place it on top. This will melt the cheese. Making a spicy mayo sauce with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl while the burgers are cooking. Put away. After cooking the burger patties, take them off the grill or pan and let them cool down for a while. You can grill or toast the burger buns until they are lightly browned. Cover each bun half with the spicy mayo sauce. This will help you put the burgers together. Put a lettuce leaf on top of the sauce, then a burger patty with cheese that has melted on top of that. Place tomato slices and onion slices that are very thin on top of the patty. For extra crunch, add one more lettuce leaf and then the other half of the bun on top. Serve the potato chips you made at home with the cheeseburgers. In a deep pan or fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350F 175C for the potato chips. Use a mandoline or a sharp knife to cut the potatoes into thin slices. Fry the potato slices one at a time for about two to three minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Take the chips out of the oil and lay them out on paper towels to drain. While they're still hot, add salt. For a tasty combination, serve the homemade potato chips with the cheeseburgers.
