mini build breakdown - faerie village raths
step 0 : consider biome and materials .
for this world , kossai use mix of oak and stripped birch woods , as that is what biomes most predominantly contain - but this is adaptable for any wood types , and even other biomes :D
step 1 : start with circle !
of course can go with any size and even use oblong shapes just for fun , but usually stick to one of these shapes to keep things consistent . can also build these into hills which naturally generate , and shape by terrain !
step 2 : build up walls
play world at about half-block height , so 4 high walls tend to be good - especially with roof !
step 3 : add roof
this roof should be built hollow , to provide nice arch ceiling inside building :
lots of headroom for anyone to enjoy , and personally like to light with glow berries !
step 4 : decorate roof and add door
really just follow heart with this one ! within kossai world , intent is for these buildings to look like part of forest from above , hence why grow lots of trees and flowers on top . again , could suit this to any biome of choice .
additionally ...
to be extra hidden , can build these right into hillsides that naturally generate :

I made a new base! this build is designed using the 12 principles of Organic architecture. It's up for debate if it actually is "organic architecture"
(i'm not gonna explain all 12 of the principles here, go watch the video linked below for that)

mini build breakdown - forest faerie farms
really simple little crop farm that design for current world as well ! note that this version is 1 block taller than what actually use in world , to account for default player height .
features :
20 crop spaces , 1 water space
natural leafy roof for sunlight
glow berries for additional light - must replace parts of inner leaf layer with logs in order to hang glow berries there
stairs to access from all 4 sides
with jungle logs , ability to farm cocoa beans right alongside crops , no need to grow full out-of-place tree
as always , could put lilypad over water , or waterlog chest for some seed storage :)
mini build breakdown - forest faerie market stall
cute little design kossai come up with , but kind of hard to show off among forest ;D
features :
glowberry log for natural light
trapdoors to allow player or armour stand occupant - or villager , if able to use barrier blocks
small counter for display
barrels under stairs for storage
