Hey gang, I heard we needed some more Josh content and I finally wrote some words again. Have some Josh and Buck playing strip poker ala S3 era.

Josh sighs the second he sees Buck's three of a kind, dropping his cards (a sad two pair with the pair of 2's on the river) and already scooting his chair back to start toeing out of his shoes.

"Voila," Josh says, tucking his shoes neatly under his chair even as Buck boos.

"Aw, c'mon, just your shoes," Buck complains, ducking under the table to squint at Josh's socked feet. Josh wiggles his toes. "I took off my whole shirt."

"Believe me, I am aware," Josh says, the hard line of Buck's neck is on full display as Buck hoists himself back upright, shoulder and biceps flexing, lines of dark ink rippling with the movement enough to make Josh look away sharply. "Fine, fine." Josh sighs, ducking down before Buck can catch him ogling. Again.

He makes a show of it, slowly rolling down the ankles of his socks before tugging at the ends till they slip of his feet with a flaccid flop. A humiliation ritual well worth it for the way Buck laughs as Josh tucks his socks into his shoes, bright and giddy.

"There, happy?"

"Sure," Buck says, taking a long gulp of his beer. Josh pointedly does not watch the way the condensation drips down Buck's knuckles, the way it gathers where his fingers wrap around the neck of the bottle.

"Sure, he says. Not a foot guy, I take it?"

"I dunno, maybe?"

"Maybe? How can you maybe have a foot fetish?"

"A girl stuck her toes in my mouth once." Buck shrugs.

"And you liked that?"

"I dunno, it was fine I guess, she told me to suck and I sucked, she seemed happy."

he brings it up to tommy after dinner one night, he is coy and shy to start with but tommy is so supportive and reassuring about his wants and needs. they spend hours talking, setting ground rules and boundaries before making the decision to download grindr and find a third.

there is a few viable options but non of them are really catching buck eyes, this is all for him after all so he gets the final vote. they do eventually find a profile that peaks buck interest. it’s very basic, no face pictures, a few shots of the guys body but and interesting bio. they talk for a while and agree on a date for him to come tommy’s place.

the day comes around and the guy shows up a few minutes early and buck can’t help but feel taken aback to see josh stood on the doorstep. they stare at each other for a moment before buck shrugs his shoulders and pulls josh into the house. the three of them fall into bed easily and it’s hot and heavy and heady and messy. it’s everything that buck could have hoped for and more.

i'm chanting "BUSH! BUSH! BUSH!" in the distance always and forever

It's been a while since they've spent any time together, so Buck's smile stretches wide when he sees Josh at Maddie's birthday party. They spend some time catching up, lamenting both of their big breakups with several 'what a dick!'s thrown around. Then, Josh asks,

"Did you ever want to kiss me back then? Before you knew?"

Buck tilts his head, considering. Huh. He never really thought about it, but… "That night we played poker with Maddie and Chimney. We joked about them setting us up. And then I walked you to your car."

"Mhm, thought that was cute of you to do." Josh smiles, leans in a little over the icing-sticky table.

Buck's drawn forward. Josh has always been magnetic. "You — I still remember what you looked like, under the lamplight. You looked —" Telling Josh he looked 'angelic' is a bit much. Buck chokes out a little laugh. "Yeah, I wanted to kiss you."

"Wanted? Past tense?" Josh pouts, and Buck can't help but stare at his lips. They're closer than they were before.

"N-no, not past tense." Buck watches as Josh's lips pull into a sly smile. He can't look away. "Yeah, definitely present."
