Seth here is a wee bit of a character.
He’s aloof and often comes off as uncomfortably abrasive and blunt, but in reality he’s just wary and defensive around people he doesn’t know and trust. This, however, in no way applies to Harley and Maddox. Those two are his best friends, the ones for whom he has the biggest soft spot for.
Well, second biggest.
You see, Seth has a secret.
He’s a dad.
The first and last time he had sex, he landed a kid out of it, still a teen who didn’t know what to do. However, he loves Sophia with all his heart, and with Maddox and Harley’s help, he’s carved out a nice little life for his family. It’s just him and Sophia, but he will defend her and his friends with his last breath. He’s very prone to Dad Mode.
His aloof personality in public and general disinterest and vague disgust at displays of romantic affection put him highly in Bree’s good books.
Meet Maddox, a fellow shy flower to pair with Dot. He’s a close friend of Harley’s, has been for years, and she has been an integral part of his life. When he first came out as a trans guy, Harley was there for him to help him through it, just like she was there for Rylee.
This boy is awkward socially, but he’s usually pretty joyful and one of the best friends you could ever make, as long as you’re lucky enough. Unfortunately, as much as his friends try to make him see his worth, Maddox suffers from self-esteem and teasing a lot.
However, Rylee, at least, hopes to change that. She sees the worth in Maddox, and wants nothing more to help him see it himself.

She isn't afraid to speak her mind (anymore), and she's an open advocate of equality for all. Rylee doesn't have the best home life, which is why she relies so heavily on her friends. Harley helped her through one of the toughest times in her life, when she was just starting to transition, and Harley made her feel like it was all going to be okay. So grateful is she for her friends that when Rylee decided to pick a new name for herself, she modeled it after those of her friends while keeping it similar to her birth name for nostalgia's sake. Thus Rylan became Rylee, honoring Harley, Dorothy, and Bree. Now Rylee would do anything to see her friends happy. She sees the best in everyone and is the biggest shipper of real life people around.
