I was wondering if you could do a Chuuya x reader who’s very kind, very super silly, and outgoing, a little clumsy, very generous and stuff. So basically the exact opposite of his type.

But there’s another catch. Reader is stupidity ticklish. Like, she’s ticklish almost EVERYWHERE. Back, knees, feet, thighs, neck, armpits, stomach etc. so anytime chuuya tries to touch reader? She jumping and running away from him. Like it’s baaad. Feather touches or however it’s said she’s immediately squirming and trying to get away from him.

Chuuya honestly never thought he would date someone like you, your not quite his type but that doesn't mean he doesn't like you

He loves and adores you but sometimes..he has to take a deep breath and remind himself to stay calm😭

One time he took you to the mall to but you something and you were Tripping EVERYWHERE. 💔 i mean you ran into at least like 7 people

Poor boy was struggling

He tried to hold your hand so you stick by him but you started laughing and giggling and I'm telling you rn. Everyone looked at both of you not judging just in a confused way.

the minute you both get home, he gives you a "what the hell was that for." Look

A another time. You guys were cuddling watching a movie,and you guys know how like couples run their fingers against their love skin? Yeah when he tried to touch your thigh and you immediately started squirming he thought he did something wrong

"Eh? Love did I do something wrong?"

"What? n-no! You got it all wrong it's just that like I'm really.. uh.." you blush as you explain that your just really sensitive when it comes to touching which he eventually understands after a while

When taking showers or baths he'll try to at least wash your back but your back is the most sensitive so you just end up giggling which he finds pretty cute ngl

And Chuuya doesn't play about people being rude to you at all so if anyone is being rude to you they're asking for a death wish. It's simple as that..😐

Which is insane because you have the most creative insults ever known to a man he's surprised you don't use them, sometimes when you guys talk it goes like this😭

"No." You say plainly. Meanwhile he looks at you as if you grew two heads.

Summary: You assume the worst; after all why else would your partner utter those four cursed words OR Sometimes there is no easy way to have a difficult discussion but one could always take a more human approach towards it.

“ We need to talk” 

When you heard those words your heart flopped to your stomach; the bitter, icky taste of bile filled your mouth. You froze mid-motion, somewhere halfway between straight and bent over towards the crib, about to place the newly nursed and sleepy boy-child beside his already napping twin sister. Your hands began to shake, so much so that you almost dropped the child the last half a meter to the soft mattress of his crib. 

“ W-what?” you gasped out, your eyes flickered towards his voice. But Dazai was almost completely out of your field of vision. Even as you craned your neck you could only catch a glimpse of him, leaning against the doorway with his arms crossed over his chest. 

“ Put him down for his nap and we’ll talk downstairs” Dazai replied, his voice soft, but you doubted it was more for your sake than the snoozing children. 

You swallowed thickly and turned back to the two babies. Your heart was beating a million miles an hour. A part of you desperately wanted to pick those two back up into your arms and shut the door on Dazai. To shut away all the issues and imperfections and just rock your children close to your body. Hold them until the world stopped spinning. When did it all become so difficult?

– Another part of you hated them. The twins that seemed to hold every ounce of Dazai and Chuuya’s love, leaving none left over for you. 

You wondered if you’d still be together if it weren’t for the twins. 

The thought made you shudder. Your thoughts drifted back to the four words that brought on this level of anxiety in you. We need to talk. In your mind there is only one reason for you to hear those words. And you knew you were not ready to face that reality- what person- woman would? When you’ve put so many years towards your relationship; celebrated so many achievements, mourned so many sacrifices, the joys of parenthood and the struggles of being partners. All of it. The good and the bad. 

Your eyes flickered down to your ring finger and you felt tears well up in your eyes. A part of you wondered if that was the reason why they never married you- never even offered. Because then ending things would be so much easier. Though, rationally, you guessed everything good had to come to an end. With or without a ring. 

Setting the child back down in the crib you pulled the blanket over the twins. Your fingers brushing against their cheeks with featherlight touches. You bit your lip as you felt a tear roll down your cheeks. Then you pulled your hands away and wiped your cheeks, steadying your nerves. 

You were not going to give him- them- the satisfaction of seeing you cry. 

Once you felt your icy mask of professionalism slip into place, you finally turned to face Dazai. With quick steps you headed out of the room. He closed the door behind you quietly then began walking downstairs, hands in his pockets. He looked relaxed, casual even.You followed, keeping half a step behind him. Not close enough so your shoulders would bump, but close enough to show that you were ready to face whatever unpleasant excuses he was going to throw in your face. You held your head high, proud and confident. 

But was that actually true? A little voice in your head whispered. Were you really so certain in yourself and your own ability to hide your emotion that you would be able to out-lie the great Osamu Dazai.  More importantly, would you really be able to remain calm and just stand and listen as the two most important men in your life listed all the things wrong with you. All the reasons why you weren’t- and would never be- good enough. 

You stopped mid step, halfway between the messy living room of childrens toys, feeding bottles, diapers and clothes scattered around without any care, and just around the corner from the kitchen and the kitchen table where you had planned to spend the rest of the evening, working to wrap up whatever work you had left in your partners departments. The work you took over while your so-called lovers were two months abroad god-knows-where doing god-knows-what. Once the finalities were fixed, you’d be able to create a report of everything that occurred in the departments during their absence; the decisions you made and suggestions you’d advise for the future. All to make the transition into their respective roles as smooth as possible. At least that had been your plan earlier tonight. A foolish, meaningless plan that was masqueraded as helping them with work when in reality it was just a facade for you to feel useful. T ofeel connected to work. 

A woman- not just a mother. 

From the corner of your eye you could see the clock on the wall gently swaying with each tick-tack sound. A reminder that the screw it hung on would give away at any moment now. Once it would finally let go, the clock would crash to the ground, the glass shattering and the hourhands stopping at whatever doomed time it happened. You hoped it happened soon- maybe even as you passed it. Shaking your head you sighed and ran a hand through your hair, a defeated expression on your face. “ Dazai I understand, you don’t need to say anything I am sorry for whatever and –” 

“-Belladonna, you’re not getting out of this talk” Dazai stated matter of factly. “ so please keep walking”

He was curt with you. Short and straight to the point. Nothing shy of an order- a veiled threat that reminded you of your place. Shuddering slightly, you started walking again, resembling a scolded puppy rather than a confident mafioso partner and mother of their children. Your gaze was focused on the floor as you followed Dazai into the kitchen where you heard Chuuya shuffling about. With each step, the geers in your head kept turning, filling you with deeper dread and anxiety. With questions you needed to ask and were terrified of knowing the answer to. 

Suddenly, you snapped out of your daze as a sweet scent filled your senses, one that wasn’t unfamiliar despite the fact that you hadn’t smelled in months. Your eyes left Dazai’s back as he took a seat at one of the kitchen chairs and searched for the source of that fragrance. Then your eyes widened in surprise as you saw a vase with flowers standing right in the middle of the kitchen table. Beside your computer and all the files and other paperwork you prepared. You frowned a little, confused. Why were there flowers? 

“ Is there something wrong with getting flowers for my precious partner?” You frowned a little at the statement, definitely thrown off guard. 

“ What’s the matter, is the smell giving you a headache?” Chuuya asked, tone worried as he emerged from the kitchen with a large platter of fruit, primarily berries and sweet tropical ones, which he set down on the table as close to you as possible before disappearing back into the kitchen.

 “You must be hungry Bella, try some” When you didn’t move closer, Dazai wrapped a cold hand around your wrist and tugged you towards himself until you landed awkwardly in his lap. He chuckled at you, his hot breath hitting your ear as his arm came to wrap itself around your waist. He was holding you closely- tightly- leaving you barely any room to get comfortable, let alone stand up and leave. Ignoring your discomfort, Dazai picked a grape of the vine and offered it to you. When you ignored it he popped it between his lips, smiling as the sweet juice filled his senses. “ ahhh they’re sweet, like cotton candy, you should eat it” he urged you again. 

You just frowned more and crossed your arms over your chest, ignoring him and his attempt at feeding you. Your eyes were focused on Chuuya re-emerging from the kitchen, several bowls levitating around him. Then your face flushed slightly as whipped cream and several types of chocolate were placed in front of you by the berries. You could feel your heart pounding in your chest, this time for an entirely different reason “ Whipped cream? Chocolate? Now?” you questioned your mind drifting back to what happened the last time that combination appeared between the three of you; the result were the twins.

Following your trail of thought Dazai chuckled and rested his head on your shoulder, arms slightly tighter around your waist; “ Bella as much as I’d love to ravish you now until you lose your voice and can’t walk; you aren’t ready yet” 

His words made you deadpan slightly; “ Dazai, I’m not a virgin. I’m more than “ready” for sex” You comment made him chuckle humorlessly as he pressed a kiss to your shoulder. 

“ You’ve had a tough delivery with a long hospital stay and then two months of utter hell, alone, with twins while juggling our work and managing the house.” another kiss, this one to the spot right where your shirt met your neck. “ You haven’t healed physically, you’re exhausted and tense mentally and we’ve neglected our partner duties for a while now.” 

Chuuya sighed heavily at Dazai’s words as he sat down on the chair beside you, his body and attention turned entirely towards you. He reached forward to a pitted cherry and dipped it in the tiniest bit of dark chocolate before bringing it up to your lips.“ Sweetheart, please eat something. Jokes aside you’ve barely gotten anything into you.” 

You huffed at Chuuya and rolled your eyes refusing the fruit until you’d know what the hell those two were playing at; “I eat, and I’m not all that hungry and also take vitamins to make sure that the milk is nutritious and the doctor check ups have gone—”

“ –Baby it’s not about the twins!” Chuuya’s rough and loud voice startled you, making a wave of guilt and sadness wash over you. You took a shaky breath, not understanding why he was suddenly so– so 

” Shit, shh sorry sweetheart,” Chuuya’s hands wore on either side of your face, stroking your cheeks and catching any and all tears you’d spill. His blue eyes stared seriously into yours. There wasn’t an ounce of humour or lies on his face, just worry and a hint of guilt “ Both me and Dazai know you’re a wonderful mother- a superwoman and while away we knew the twins would be more than well taken care of. You on the other hand are a different story.” 

“ Belladonna for once there’s no hidden agenda or clause. Just two idiots trying to make up for lost time. Will you let us?” Dazai pressed another kiss to your shoulder as Chuuya gave you a half sad- half hopeful smile before once again raising the chocolate covered cherry to your lips. You parted them for him slightly. Carefully he pushed it in your mouth, smearing the tiniest bit of chocolate and cherry on your upper lip, which he wiped off with his thumb. Then he brought it to his mouth and gave a lick. 

“ hmm they’re not as sweet as I thought, how about some milk or white chocolate doll?” Chuuya grinned as he prepared several cherries in different chocolate combinations.

Oh how could you say no to that? 

For every berry you ate, you saw Chuuya’s grin grow wider and wider. It looked as if he was ready to jump out of his seat and cheer the second the cherry landed past your lips while Dazai pressed more and more kisses to your clothes. 

After a while your eyes landed on a sheet of paper near your computer “ What’s that?” You asked, your eyes flickering towards an unfamiliar table hand drawn with columns and times. The glint in Dazai’s eyes told you, you shouldn’t have asked. 

“This is Dazai’s getting-Y/N-back-to-regular-eating plan- So tonight we start with berries and chocolate- stuff you’ve always been a sucker for Belladonna. Then tomorrow it will be cooked rice for breakfast with steamed vegetables and if you can manage than a bowl of miso and then for lunch–” Dazai rambled on, pointing out different times and the variety of dishes, snacks and back up snacks he planned to make sure you would go back to the regular three-times a day eating healthy and balanced meals. 

In the meantime Chuuya fed you chocolate and cream covered fruit one by one, the only time he’d pause was whenever he’d purposefully smear a bit of the sweet treat on your lips and kiss it off; a silent request for you to just relax and let them take care of your for a change. 

The sign of affection made you smile and helped ease some of your anxiety. You weren’t going to be fooled into believing that this was honestly done for your sake and not the twins. And that they didn’t have some kind of agenda behind their actions. Still you’d rather cling to any scraps of attention they spare for you than face the bitter truth of what your relationship has become.

Onto the request!

I'm smarter than you| A Rivals to lovers Ranpo x Reader fanfic

When you first came to the agency,it seemed like you had nothing to catch the detective's attention; in fact he didn't even listen to your introduction! It looked like his ears straight up closed just after they told him your name and started talking about how strong your ability was.

But you didn't blame him for not listening,since you didn't think your ability was your greatest asset at all ,really. This wasn't the field you wanted to challenge him in.

You wished to beat him in intelectual matters.

This was the reason you accepted the Agency's offer in the first place, to challenge him since you had been in Yokohama for a while and seeing him somehow solve every single interesting case with such ease really made you mad, he made it seem like nobody could ever beat him, and you desperately wanted to prove him wrong.

However you knew your first introduction to him wasn't going well since he was paying way more attention to the sweets he was munching on than anything else around him, including you ; and even though it didn't anger you at first, the more you thought about it and the more it threw you into an incontrollable fit of rage.

Why? Because it meant he was already looking down on you- When he didn't even hear the sound of your voice yet!

So you wanted to catch his attention, but how?

Well he did seem very focused on his sweets so...

"Mind if I take one?" You said, smiling gently while pointing to his prized sweets.

You then saw him instantly come back to reality, the thought of his sweets not being his anymore scaring him.

"No!Never! Are you out of your mind?" He said, shielding the candies with his arms.

Oh. So that was who the "greatest-detective-in-the-entire-world" was... well smart people tend to be weird so...

And this made you want to beat him even more. So you made sure not to show anything strong about you in front of him yet, until the day you got to work on the same team.

However, when the day finally came; he still wasn't aware of your intelligence and even though it was wanted as this would only multiply the surprise effect; it still angered you. But this will be over once you finally beat him in his own field! And that, happens today.

"Y/N! Over here!I can't find my way around here alone! Help me, travel guide!" Ranpo called out to you, waving in your direction.

"I'm not your travel guide! Besides, can't the great detective you supposedly are do this alone? But I decided I'll be nice today, so follow me, and follow close because I won't go after you if you get lost!" you shouted back at him, making big signs for him to come to you.

Well, this was going to be one hell of a team !

"The train is my kryptonite! And I am a great detective! The greatest detective in the whole world!" He was almost poutting... aw did you anger the greatestdetectiveinthewholeworld? So tragic! We need to write this! wait what

You carefully got to the train, with Ranpo behind you. This was your first victory, since taking the train was an intellectual thing right? Yea that totallyyy counted as your first win!Cheers!

But you weren't only going to be his guide, no, that's not why they chose you to team up with him because, in fact, this case wasn't your simple murder case, it was also deemed dangerous by the police; since the mystery surrounding the case isn't in the first murder, it's in all of those who came afterwards, since every single officer who went there immediatly died when the camera weirdly shut down and would only work when the murder was already committed, all of the murders were the exact same, from the one that started this to all of the others that followed.

However, you weren't going to let that chain go on. You knew you were the one that would stop this, this case was practically made for you anyways! The need for brains all while you have to fight to survive? That's the best set-up you could be in! And this was the one where you'd finally be up against him! How could you possibly not win this?

This ride was a rather peaceful one, but not the good kind of peaceful, more like the stressful kind; the tension was sooo dense. However, complaining about this would be kind of ironic since it was your fault, the detective was trying to speak to you, except you had something more important in mind.

Finding clues for the case.

You were so caught up in the case that it seemed like the world around you stopped turning. But you absolutely needed to beat him! You couldn't let yourself be stopped by some stupid discussion!

So yeah it wasn't a very fun ride, wouldn't rate it really high personally.

However everything changed when you arrived, you were in full observation off the world around you,

Every noise,

Every smell,

Every touch,

Everything.

Including the weird black spot that was starting to take over the security camera.

You knew what that meant so, within the blink of an eye, you teleported to where the murderer supposedly was ,according to your previsions, and they were right. Which meant you could safely neutralize their hands, and stop the poison from infecting you and your teammate! Case solved gentlemen, you figured it out all while getting evidence! Second win against him in the day? Wow you might even start taking his detective title if this goes on!

But your success wasn't bringing pride to everyone, in fact a certain detective was especially angry about it, even if he tried to hide it, you knew he was. He had to be! Someone finally beat him in his field! He didn't even have the time to know the case because that idiot didn't even read the reports!

He wasn't very good at hiding his anger anyways since he magically became interested in you after the case, asking a lot of questions about your power and how it worked, but he was still prideful since when you confronted him about how "the "great detective" he was should already have figured that out right?" he only answered with even more pride "Of course I already figured all of that out! I just want to make sure you understand how your power works! I know every single thing about this world so stop pretending I don't!Hmph!" awww... pouting again was his ego really so easy to harm?

After that, Ranpo constantly asked you to go on one of Poe's novels with him; probably wanting to cope with his previous loss which made your eyes roll, since he was already that desperate to get revenge on you.

But when you finally accepted, you knew it was the start of looong war, and you weren't wrong at all since you started spending most of your time in novels or cases with him, however the presence of the other wasn't completely making your success increase because of the confrontation, it was also significantly harder because you both figured out that hiding the clues from the other would help you win and so, an endless cycle of very creative ways to destroy clues began, which included Ranpo literallly EATING A CLUE (It was a piece of candy the victim had, can you blame Ranpo for this honestly, so predictable...)

Days and months passed, and your rivalry only got stronger, with an almost 50/50 win ratio between the two of you, which only made both of you want to compete more, to prove your superiority!

Eventually, Kunikida decided to partner you guys up for most of the missions which caused a lot of tantrums from you because "how am I supposed to work with a clue-eating-partner?!"

"Hey! This ain't about you! How am I supposed to work with someone who's constantly trying to get in my way! They annoyed me even as a normal agency member, can you imagine what it'll be like if we have to work together?"

But Kunikida wasn't going to give up on his ideal about having you two work together and so, you eventually had to give in to him and accept the request.

However you felt deep-down like being paired up with him wouldn't be so bad... huh, weird. But that's because you'd be able to get him off his stupid pedestal! Or maybe it was something else....no, it couldn't be!

That was, what you were thinking months ago, however the other option was starting to seem more and more attractive as the little challenges started becoming wayy less on the intelectual side of things, to become more casual, keeping up the rivalry of course since even breathing could be a competition, if you wanted it to be!

Yup, you were starting to realise how your feelings weren't only composed of rivalry anymore, probably before Ranpo did, which definetely counted as another win in your eyes!

Besides, judging on clues you were grasping by just looking at him (he, fortunately didn't eat those), you knew his feelings were probably the same. And you weren't going to let him go first, you were sure this could count as another win !

You even had the perfect way to let him realise and for you to confess your feelings! And so, you invited him for another challenge.

An eating competition.

The one who eats the most candies in 5 minutes wins.

This was the perfect bait, casual enough for your magic trick to work and interesting enough for Ranpo to take it, this was about food after all.

And so, your plan began as soon as you both went to buy the candies, however you weren't going to choose the fastest way to get there, no you had to distract him.

Yes you read that right, distract Ranpo off of food.

Nothing the great rival you were couldn't do!

And so, you slowly started talking about past challenges, then remembered funny times you had on them together and before you knew it this was a completely casual conversation! He was pretty easy to stray away from his goal for a detective, which just proved how much better you were!

"Yeah!People are totally discriminating against red cars-"

"Ranpo?Can I ask you something?" You asked, stopping his speech that did seem pretty interesting but now was the perfect time to strike.

He turned his head towards you, stopping in his way as you did the same. "What?"

"Doesn't this feel like it isn't just plain rivalry anymore? Don't you feel like there's something more to it too?" You asked with the most confident look you could pull off, even if the fact your cheeks were starting to feel a bit warm probably wasn't helping. Still, you looked at him straight in the eyes, just watching them open as he realised what you said.

"Oh. This is yet another mystery you solved faster than I did right? Well I got a plan… what if we just become the greatest detective couple? This way nobody will be able to challenge us!" He answered, with a light in his eyes you never saw before, it wasn't the one from when he got his favorite sweet, nor the one from when you gave him a challenge. This one was stronger, and it was definitely fascinating, you wanted to keep every single detail you were seeing in your memory forever. But not only were his eyes shining like stars, his smile was also the one of a little kid, because even though you noticed he was trying to keep a composed smug, the happy childish part of him was taking over, making him have the cutest face you ever saw ,the second cutest also being his.

"Hm, this doesn't sound like a bad idea at all, but know I've had this in mind for a long time, way before you did! So therefore I win again mister detective!" You said, pridefully enunciating every word to make sure he understood very well how much you beat him! But that wasn't very easy to do since the butterflies in your stomach were dancing like never before, and soon you felt your whole body heat up, especially your face, where you were sure little volcanos were all trying to pierce through your skin, especially on your cheeks, probably making your confident act even more ridiculous than before, and this wasn't something he would miss.

"Well, I can't really argue with you there, can I? But if I can't be the greatest detective in your eyes, will I be allowed to make the opposant mine?" He answered, slowly starting to look down to your hand,which was getting closer to his, both of you going towards the other.

"Only if I can make my opposant mine too!"

"You're not dumb,I'm sure you already know he's all yours now."

He took your hand, and as you walked towards the candy shop together, he made sure to never let go.

"Are we still going to do the challenge?" Ranpo asked you, with puppy eyes because this was still an opportunity for him to eat, how could he forget?

"Of course, and we're actually going the right way this time!"You said,giggling at your own words.

You looked at eachother,slowly picturing eachother's features, to make sure you kept them in your memories, forever.

You bought the candies (not without complaint from Ranpo who thought you 'didn't buy enough') and decided to start the challenge just outside the shop, putting the sweets on a random person's car(which probably wasn't the best idea,but you didn't care at all).

The challenge wasn't really fair, Ranpo was chugging on the candies crazy fast,as expected, competing with him wasn't a piece of cake. But he even had the courage to stop eating! Was he so sure he won...?

"Hmmm I think I could go faster if I took a bite of yours!" Ranpo confidently said, looking deep in your eyes, and making his way towards you.

But he kept getting closer and closer to you, and wouldn't stop until.

Oh.

A kiss.

It was confident, yet soft and warm, the warmth from his lips on yours slowly spreading to your whole body, and you kissed back, with everything you had in you.

This felt like time had stopped for the two of you, and you were even considering that your ability activated on its own, but no; you were just too happy together.

However, all good things have an end, and as you had to get some air, you started to take in what happened, making your heart fluster.

This defeat was the best you ever had, because losing didn't have an importance right now, what was more important was how good it felt, your sugary lips uniting both of you, the way he put his hand behind your back for support... everything, you loved everything.

And so when it came to deciding who won, you were too flustered to propose anything else than a tie and that perfectly represented your relationship, you were both as smart, hence why it was so interesting.

But now, a new form of "competition" was starting to take place, even better than before.
