Earth Frequency Festival is a 4 day outdoor festival, based in South-East Queensland, Australia (February 12-15). While drawing from many cultural niches such as transformational festival, tribal gathering, doof and boutique festival, the aim of Earth Frequency Festival is to go beyond these traditional tags and to exist as a multi-faceted gathering focused broadly on creativity, community, connection, intention and inspiration.

Our aim is to co-create nothing short of a life changing, transformative experience. Nurtured by the setting of the beautiful Australian outdoors, we can gather together to celebrate life with music, art and other creative forms, and to educate, connect, heal and inspire.  Over the 4 days you can expect a full range of music, performance, arts, lectures and workshops, creative activities and market stalls.  For those attending, it may just be the defining weekend of your summer.

Earth Frequency Festival is an inclusive, community minded event. We aim to provide a meeting place – people from many different backgrounds, ages and walks of life come together with the shared interests of music, nature, technology, culture, community and peace. Now entering it’s second decade, Earth Frequency Festival has grown and evolved to become a calendar highlight for the S.E.QLD / N.NSW region and beyond.

  There is so much more to Earth Frequency Festival than just the music, and one of our other creative outlets is the Visionary Art movement. We are very happy to now announce the 2016 lineup – a fantastic mix of international and domestic talent, from painting to digital art and everything in between.   Alchemistas – Beyond the Veil, isimli Vizyoner Sanat kitabının basımından sonra, uzun süredir beklenen, daha zengin sanatçı içeriği ve yeni sanatçıların katılımıyla gerçekleşecek olan ikinci kitap baskıya hazırlanıyor.  Yani bir kez daha vizyoner bir yolculuğa hazır olun!

Bu kitap sanatçılar ve tasarımcıların, yıllarca sürdürdüğü bir rüyanın ve sıkı çalışmanın bir sonucu. Tamamen sanatçıların sahip olduğu ve oluşturduğu ve bu oluşum için, dışarıdan herhangi bir yatırımın olmadığı bir proje. Yalnız bu sefer, proje sahipleri ikinci baskı için, desteğinizi bekliyor.

    Neye ihtiyacımız var ve sizde ne var?

Proje sahipleri bu kampanyayı yürütürken, sizden bu vizyonu hayata geçirmenizi istiyor. Son iki yılı birçok eser arasında seçim yaparak, ve binlerce başvuru arasından ortaya çıkan artistleri eleyerek geçirmişler. bütün bu vizyonlar bu projede birleşiyor ve daha önce görülmemiş bir şekilde sunuluyor.

Onlar bu epik projeyi bitirmekte ve bunu bir başarı hikayesine dönüştürmekte kararlı. Ama sizin de katılımınız gerekiyor. 

    Bu projenin tasarımını yapmak ve basılı hale getirmek için bağışa ihtiyaçları var. Bunun için de uzun saatler süren tasarımlar, algıyı genişletecek resimlerin yerleşimi ve artistik bir şekilde sunumu gibi nöanslar mevcut.  Vizyoner Sanat ekibinin önümüzdeki 2-3 ay boyunca, sıkı çalışarak, bunu yapabilecek bir ekibi var. Daha sonrasında ise kaliteli bir baskı ve herkesin alabilmesi için uygun bir fiyatla satışı gerekiyor.

  What We Need & What You Get

We have launched this campaign to ask you to help us bring this vision to life.  We have spent the last 2 years compiling images of these artists’ ground breaking artwork, and carefully selecting emerging artists from hundreds of submissions.  It will all culminate in this project, bringing the transformational images of these artists to the public in a way never seen before with inspiring words and passages that illuminate the images and unite them together.

We are determined to complete this epic project and make it a resounding success, but we are going to need YOUR PARTICIPATION!

We are asking for funds to get this book project designed and printed.  To do that, it is going to take many long hours of design and layout, pairing beautiful images with the words that expand their understanding, and presenting it all in a way that is artistic and imaginative.  To do this, our team of professionals will need to dedicate 2-3 months of solid full-time work to make it happen.  After that we want to find the best quality printer at a price that makes the book affordable for everyone.

Through The Lens July - With David Russell Photography

Well it’s that time again for you guys to see some of my favourite images from the last month, which basically consists of who I think is putting some dope work out there, and messing up Melbourne as well.

I don’t just love the mad pieces and the amazing murals but I also really love tags and throwies, I love to see them taking over corporate areas, city-scapes like creeping vines getting into every nook and cranny.

The prolific nature is what really draws me to it, especially when I catch a train I’m like a kid in a candy shop rarely sitting rather standing up so as I can get a better view trackside, thats when when you can really appreciate why Melbourne is called “MELBURN”.

Also stay tuned guys as I am having my first solo exhibition on the 6th of November at Blender studios, showcasing my work old and new, Im really looking forward to seeing my work come alive, as most of you guys only see it on an iPhone or computer monitor, I will keep you guys posted until then get out there and see what I see and discover why we call it “MELBURN”.

Through The Lens February - David Russell Photography

Last month saw some amazing work from Melbourne’s graffiti and street art community, painting all manner of shapes and sizes from small canvases to mega productions spanning as far as the boom arm would allow.

As for the laneways there is always a fresh burner or two amongst all the of the mess, which I love so much all those layers Its like a living breathing entity.

I can’t wait to bring you next months crop of photos, already so much happened and we are only four days in to the month of March, till then peace out peeps
