I was inspired to give Noctis a staff by Frieren. So i used her iconic pose picture as a refrence.

Using this picture of older noctis as a facial refrence.

First iteration of the staff, did not quite like this. Also. Shoes.

The magical staff is made from a mythril drive shaft in the story. So i looked one up for refrence. This is from a car, not a boat. Which in the story they get this from a boat. But thats semantics.

With enough adjustments it looks pretty cool. The sphere on the end is several of his magic flasks fused together.

And then after this is was a mater of coloring and shadding!
