honestly as a brown person seeing what they did to kali just makes me so, so sad. it's not often that we get to see characters like her, and while people say the lost sister was the worst episode of s2 i really think they ignore the fact that kali, in her own way, helped eleven find out who she was. they really took a brown girl, used her to forward the mcs plot like twice, and then just left her for dead. it sucks because the POTENTIAL we could have had. it could've just been kali and jane, the sisters instead of 008 and 011, the superhero and the villain.
they had so much potential.

We're all game for Logan Lerman as Poseidon and different actresses for Aphrodite. I personally would REALLY like to see Aaron Taylor Johnson as Zeus cuz not only does he and Logan look alike enough to be brothers but ATJ is a fine actor and deserves something this mainstream.
But aside from that, may I present the idea of Fawad Khan as Hades because that man can BROOD, let me tell you and he looks fine af doing it. Also desi/brown representation, hello?
I have seen people express the desire to have Amita Suman cast as Persephone and I wholly agree but with Fawad Khan as Hades they'd just he the hottest Olympian power couple no matter who else is cast as the rest of the pantheon.

Something that I don’t necessarily know how to articulate but have very many thoughts and feelings about is brown representation on tv.
Like not just there being a brown person, not just them in the background, or vibing, or etc, but then being a main. And honestly, them being !! A main and a love interest.
I don’t think I can explain what it felt like to me when I saw Inej Ghafa and Kaz Brekker on screen. When I saw Kate—Kathani Sharma on screen with Anthony Bridgerton. It’s something that really is inexplicable, something that you have to feel, because it isn’t just joy.
I know a lot of times people say they wish they saw more brown/brown relationships on the big screens and stuff, and uh yeah, but as a brown person who’s dated white people, seeing those couples actually make me so happy.
