my roommate only talks about racism and how harmful it is if people talk bad about white people. no explaining has gotten her to understand it’s not racism—or how insane it is to only understand ramifications of racism when it’s, in her words, “against white people. i don’t know what you want me to do about being white i was born like this! they’re being so mean☹️”
and i have to sit there like wow ok so. so many things i could say to that
