I don't know if you answered something like this before, but how good of a father do you think Daemon was? In my eyes he was better at being a parent than a husband (at least to Rhaenyra and definitely to Rhea Royce). Does it says in Fire and Blood how he reacted to Viserys's "death"?
I definitely think Daemon was better suited to fatherhood than marriage. I would like to think he was definitely proactive with his own children at least, I’m a little on the fence about how fatherly he was to his stepsons; I think he probably put on a good show of it but I at least believe his intentions were that his own son would inherit the throne from Rhaenyra before his stepsons would. Other than Daemon enlisting Mysaria to help avenge Luke’s death, I don’t remember him being overly fond of them or doting on them in any way. He had no problem killing their father (there’s no doubt in my mind that he maneuvered Laenor’s death) so he could marry their mother for his schemes, I honestly and truly believe that his stepsons would have met the same fate eventually if it had not been for the Dance.
We don’t get a bunch of information about Daemon’s relationships with his own children, but I’d like to think he encouraged Baela to be a warrior and even trained her himself. I could see Rhaena reminding him of Laena a lot and him having a soft spot for her. There’s not much on Daemon with his boys though from what I can remember, and the war didn’t start until Aegon was 9 yrs old so there was an adequate amount of time for Daemon to acquaint himself with his sons. Aegon towards the end really favored Rhaenyra but that was because he was with her constantly and rarely saw Daemon during the war. I don’t think it’s ever addressed how Daemon felt about Viserys’s supposed death, but it’s never really addressed how Viserys or Aegon felt about him either. I don’t know if that’s just GRRM not adding in those minute details or if it will be addressed in F&B vol. 2.
My opinion is that Daemon was a better father to Baela and Rhaena out of all his children because they both had 13 yrs uninterrupted with him as an influence in their lives. It’s still possible that Aegon and Viserys did love Daemon as a father but I definitely think Daemon got to spend more quality time with his girls because he had them at a much calmer time in his life. Both his sons were raised by different people and neither one of them are very similar to Daemon; House Rogare raised Viserys and Aegon’s regents raised him. It’s kind of evident with their personalities too because Viserys was raised in a family dynamic and Aegon was raised by a bunch of elected officials, so Viserys is charming and Aegon is really withdrawn.
The real tea here is his grandchildren. Can you believe that Baelor the Blessed was the grandson of Daemon Targaryen? Aegon IV is understandable at least, but Baelor??? I find it so hilarious haha

Please tell Seneca to watch out
I don’t know who that is, but is he okay? Are you okay? Is he a bad person? Should we call for guards?
Stolen Thunder:
Rhaenys: Aegon doesn't really see Visenya as just a sister....
Argella: Yeah, suppose that made it easier to marry her
Rhaenys: He sees her more like a mother figure.
Argella:
that’s it
Let her kill
