Bridleways can be hit and miss
Well after a good ride out tracing bridleways near my home this one turned into a proper leg ripper, more cuts and scrapes ensued following it through the tree line. Turned out to be a hike and carry for about 2 miles through brambles nettles bracken ..
Beeching ways
The loss of the railways after the war (beeching act) left us that love cycling these lost and often left to overgrow paths and ways along the old defunct railways
