Waiting for the train (1914) by Laurits Andersen Ring. Statens Museum for Kunst.
The Lindau-Insel rail embankment
Lindau's historical centre is on an island, which requires some kind of structure if trains are going to reach it - which they do. Given the relatively placid nature of the Bodensee, an embankment would suffice, so, since the opening of the Bavarian line from Munich in the 1854, that's what's been in place.

Level Crossing Brewing Suss It Out Rye IPA (Picked up at an Utah State Liquor Store in Salt Lake City). A 4 of 4. The rye plays nicely with the hop choices here -- lighter bodied and delivers a nice spicy and resinous quality on the palate with a moderately aggressive bitterness in the finish. Some faint berry notes get picked up in the nose, too. Don't see much rye around, and it can do great things.
