Have you ever unfollowed someone over a fandom opinion?

I think I unfollowed a few people who blogged a lot of CaptainSw*n (OUAT).  That ship is abusive as hell and I want zero part in it. 

Has fandom ever made you enjoy a pairing you previously hated?*

lmao no. If anything fandom makes it 10x worse.

Most disliked character(s)? Why?

I really dislike Cl*ra. I’m kind of mad at myself about it, tbh, because she’s a great feminist character - confident, entirely unapologetic, clever, determined, etc. But on the heels of River Song, her arc just felt like River 2.0, but done stupid. And, admittedly, I hate the way the Doctor treats her. It was too soon after River for him to be all “ooh mystery” and “ooh tight skirts” and it’s just not my jam at ALL. I think it’s also that I just don’t relate to her at all? I find her arrogance off putting rather than enjoyable, and her flaws (like the way she treated Danny) make her unapproachable for me rather than making her more fully fleshed out. I totally get why people love her, she’s just not for me.

Is there an unpopular arc that you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why?

Apparently River’s arc is unpopular? And people TAG. THEIR. SHIT???? And for OUAT, again, CaptainSw*n. I think H*ok is trash and never actually redeemed himself despite all his posturing and Emma just disappeared in his shadow and the show about three incredibly different, incredibly badass female characters became all about dick and I hate it. 

Unpopular opinion about the manga/show?

My feelings toward Cl*ra’s arc, I would say are definitely unpopular. My love of River is apparently unpopular. I love Steven Moffat. I like Missy a lot, but the Master just got old so fucking fast. I continually have to remind myself that R*se is 19 and acts it. Not excited about Chibnall. As much as I love love love TWORS and LKH and TATM, those episodes have major issues that I would like to discuss with Moff over tea while I inform him that’s not how foreshadowing works and why, why, why did you cram River’s entire regeneration arc into one episode why and also put the Statue of Liberty back where she came from or so help me.

Does not shipping something ‘popular’ mean you’re in denial and/or biased?

Yes and no? I mean, I think we’re all biased as hell. I am RIDE OR DIE River Song and that will never change. There are a few things about the writing of her arc that make me cringe but her character itself I will defend on my fucking deathbed. But just because something is popular doesn’t make it good or right - see the entirety of the United States right now? Hello.  

What are your thoughts on crack ships?

I think they can be hilarious.  In the OUAT fandom, Regina/Floor is my crackship. Gurl passes out/gets knocked out so damn often it’s ridiculous. I think someone even made a gifset and it’s brilliant. 

Would you recommend XXX to a friend? Why or why not?

IDK what XXX you meant but I would recommend Doctor Who, Brooklyn 99, The West Wing, and virtually all my shows to anyone and everyone who will listen to me lol.

Least shippable character?

Look at Ari! Keeping her priorities in order! Because yes, completing all the incomplete mattex fics ruminating in my brain and on my hard drive is absolutely my top priority!! So thank you for wishing that kick on to me and for the birthday wishes!!!
