fuckkkk dude the audience is just staring horrified at you. yeah the crazy ass monologue was one thing but all this blood everywhere has GOT to be some sort of health code violation
Eva Stratt fresh out of prison rambling like lady Macbeth
“Out, damned spot! out, I say!--One: two: why, then, 'tis time to do't.--Hell is murky!--Fie, my lord, fie! a soldier, and afeard? What need we fear who knows it, when none can call our power to account? Yet who would have thought the old man to have had so much blood in him.”
Don't judge me, but a fanart of Elia inspired by Lady Macbeth would be interesting...

What, will these hands ne'er be clean?
19. Macbeth Part 2: Red-Handed, Ghosts and Guilt
Banquo! Lady Macbeth! Shakesqueer! The Monster's Body Is a Cultural Body! Charles Manson! Playboy! Join us for Macbeth, Part 2, in which we explore changing beliefs about ghosts from the ancient world to Shakespeare's England and discuss how audiences, past and present, might understand Banquo's ghost. From there, we turn to Lady Macbeth's fractured experience of guilt and time before considering the many ways filmmakers have reimagined the play to reflect the anxieties of their own historical moments.
Lady Macbeth was really valid actually. If I found out I was suddenly having like a bunch of people over for a fancy royalty dinner and I had to do ALLL the prep because it's at MY HOUSE and my husband didn't tell me I too would kill the king
I am writing a "modern!lady macbeth in a house md episode" fic, and WHAT DISEASE DO I GIVE HER.
She definitely had hallucinations (saw red on her hands), and thought she was in a dream. There could be more that I don't remember, but some symptoms can be added for the disease. (And I definitely need a few similar ones that will be wrong)
Basically the fic plan is:
Lady macbeth(i will give her some name cs it was never mentioned) — US's first lady in this au, whose husband is currently mid-campaign, so he can't really bother to come — is brought into the ER after a suicide attempt, and the case is given to house's team. Now, they have to figure out what is wrong with her, and will find out about the asassination of Duncan (who will be the previous president here). Except as I may have said, I don't have any diseases to give her, or any for house to suspect, and be wrong about (and maybe something more complicated so the meds don't work at first. For extra fun.)
So um. Medically knowledgeable people, please help haha
