The first episode of Birds of Prey premiered on the CW on October 9, 2002. The show was produced by Tollin/Robbins, who also produced Smallville. The show featured Helena Kyle/Huntress (Ashley Scott), Barbara Gordon/Oracle/Batgirl ( Dina Meyer), and Dinah Lance/Black Canary's daughter (Rachel Skarsten). The series would produce 14 episodes if you include the unaired pilot. The series was set in the Universe of the Tim Burton directed Batman films. Ian Ambercrombie played Alfred Pennyworth. Mark Hamill once more provided the voice of the Joker. Mia Sara became the first live action version of Dr Harleen Quinzel/Harley Quinn.
