Today is the last day of submission of entries for the #BPScavengerHunt2016. This isn't an entry. I'd just like to take this chance to thank @bookishpinoys for this fun-filled activity. It kept me on my toes. Although I'd love to win this competition, I think it's just fun to actually do the prompts. It challenges my creative juices. Ever since @nbsalert launched the new edition of the Mortal instruments, I knew I have to have this in my collection. My niece have been bugging me to read this. And this is the kind of book that you don't read off an ebook. You have to have a physical copy. Well, at least for me. And because I hate cliff hangers (who doesn't?), I know I have to have the entire set before I dig in. So, for the longest time, all I can every do is look at them from afar. So before I start, I'm requesting Me Before You fans to not kill me. Here goes nothing. I read this book because of all the people teaching about it and I said that I should see what all the fuzz is about. And I'm kind of disappointed after. It kinda feel lacking to me. I'm looking for more "feels". I did feel a little heart broken at some point. But I didn't feel how everyone felt. Not the ugly cry. Not the hang over kind of feels. It's just not for me. I like how my take on recreating a book cover went. It took me forever to figure out what to use to make one of my niece's chess piece color red temporarily as I do not want to actually ruin the item. This photo was taken in the opening day of @thebookstopph's opening day at Intramuros. I met these two girls at work. They have been my teammates for quite sometime before we became friends. Being the loner that I am, is been a while before i "thawed" to them. At first, we would just talk about the calls that we had. Then, we started taking our breaks together. We became closer when w found out that we have same interests, books and food. We exchange recommendations and books as well.
