“That’s what you think! Why would I ever call for someone like you to help me?”
Soulburner snapped, a hand coming up to press against his still throbbing forehead. So he’d gotten the contact buttons mixed up in his attempt to reach Playmaker, big deal! Revolver should’ve been smarter than that.
“If you’re just gonna stand there and laugh at me, then leave.” Before he’s able to stand up again and do that much for Revolver.
If Revolver was honest to himself, then he had known from the beginning, that the other one most likely hadn’t called him on purpose. Even though the first moment he actually had gotten worried about the other one. Worried about how bad the situation was for Soulburner to actually wanting him around. In the end...it only had took him one look at the younger one to realize that it probably wasn’t anything more than an accident.
“I wondered that much. Usually it’s not you needing my help.”
But he was here now. And leaving the younger one behind? Not an option either. The other one didn’t seemed like he wanted to thank him though.
“I wouldn’t have went through the trouble of helping you if I just wanted to laugh at you.” he replied in the end, shrugging slightly. But at least Soulburner was standing again. It was a beginning, right?
