I did a redo of the shield paint, because I botched it the first time. I used #Bosny spray can for the white, #GundamMarkers for the yellow and panel lines. Used basic masking tape. I removed the paint using hardware bought denatured alcohol, and repainted everything using #Tamiya acryclics with brushes. Masked the area with Tamiya tape 5mm, that really made the difference for the paint not bleed. So here's how I painted my Psylocke's armor part. It's my first time using a primer ~ and I'm loving how it looked when it dried up! May EVA foam base is black so crafter friends advised me to use a gray primer first since the paint that I'd be using is a dark color too. But it is advisable to prime the base first on any shade of the final paint that you'll use. And I say that the color was more lovely to look at. I think whether it be a matte or a shiny paint, the gloss and matte effect will show more. :)
