Snaps of my Kujaku 🥰

And our saga continues for another project with no WIP photos ~ Here's how I made this set of Kujaku, Rear Admiral (also a member SWORD).

P.S. This piece required me a lot of skill set to make: stuffed toy making, wig handling, stencil making, pattern making and sewing.

Ordered a straight wig, but it arrived curly. So I had to straighten it first.

Free hand stencil of these cause I don't have time to do vectors of these in Photoshop.

Not the ideal fabric I'd use for this piece but this Katrina fabric is the only fabric that had the correct link of shade that I needed.

I just want to say thank you to my fabric-hoarding-era that I was able to make this set without buying new materials (well, except for the suspenders, top and the shorts) ~ other than that, this was a fun build! I could've made the buckle and made the stripes on my shorts but that's for another day!

Total work hours: around 18hrs

The bonnet I had fun creating ~ I had a bunch of bonnets in my stash and I was able to just trace out the pattern.

Had to make extra space for the wig.

I had internal tantrums cause its the wrong shade but it turned out nice once you see it beside the pink of the wig!

My mini HTV iron was finally out of the box for making this looooong-aeesss bias tape.

Making stockings with Geena fabric and soft felt. 😅

Plus, this is me not trusting paint for a rush work cause I don't have time and extra supplies to do paint tests.

The brown jacket I made out of a fleece blanket that I bought for a future "Chopper" project, but here we are.

Had a ton of jackets too, so I just traced the pattern on the closest one I wanted.

The Brooch ~

Used air dry clay + Elmer's Glue + Primer + Actylic Paint

➡️ Traced the logo reference, and made a vector of different sizes.

➡️ Printed and laminated it

➡️ Size tested it on a button pin (25mm)

➡️ Hand sculpted everything ~ three coats of Elmer's Glue before priming and painting

I'm really proud of my wristlet designs. I outsourced the production of this. It would be so cool if I get to do designs for all the rare characters that doesn't have much merch.

13 years ago, I wore my first costume for a friend.

And now, I am still enjoying this hobby with friends! I have gain so much knowledge, experiences and friendships with this hobby and I would do it all over again! 💕

I made a mirror wanted poster using some IKEA pieces.

Besides the Tiger plushie and organizing my nephew's 1st birthday shoot, I also helped with the party.

I did the layout for the welcome board, the photobooth layout and the design of the calendar giveaway. 💕 I also helped with the layout of the pillows and fixed the displays at the party.

I made that snack bag thingy for blind bags for my booth!

If lucky, we get a table and have a booth on the last convention of the year!

These blind bags are a nice way to dispose old stocks and give way to new ones.

The template I found at Canva and just tweaked things around.

I hope I'm able to secure at least one booth this year.
