Out of curiosity. For those with disabilities they were technically born with but didn't get diagnosed until later, do you consider yourself born disabled?
I feel like I live in a limbo world between people born disabled and people who have acquired disability. I was sick from the moment I was born. I struggled with chronic illness and chronic pain for the entirety of my childhood. But no one consciously considered me disabled. (Perhaps an invisible disability). And it did get worse in my late teen years and I am now very visibly severely disabled. But I also was disabled as a kid even if no one addressed it. And it feels odd to put myself in either category because I didn't have access to the disabled community as a child and I didn't have people treating me as disabled. But also I didn't have the moment where I woke up sick and never got better. Because I was sick for my whole life. I never felt like my life was taken from me bc this has been my whole life. I don't know. Perhaps it doesn't matter, but it's something I think about a lot.
