Thank you to @sobbookbinders @societyofbookbinders north wales and north west region for inviting me to do a cloth book repair workshop. It was a real joy to share skills with a very friendly and knowkedgable bunch of bookbinders. As always happens with book repair each book was different so we had a variety of techniques to cover including guarding pages, re-sewing, cloth jointed endpapers re-backing. So delighted to welcome @wandarobins into my studio as part of her @societyofbookbinders Maureen Duke Award. She was awarded the bursary to gain 1-1 tuition and has been working towards her @cityandguilds in bookbinding. Two different styles of photo albums made over three days with beautiful results.
