I created an outline for a story I really liked but unfortunately due to lack of writing and art skills I've decided to let it go but instead of letting it dissappear I'm putting it here to hopefully grow though or inspire someone else.
City of Lies
· Savanna is the main character and she is Japanese American.
· Her parents were divorced and she lived with her mother in Japan.
· Her father dies so she moves to the U.S. to claim the inheritance and luxury apartment he left her.
· She quickly learns that society revolves around the rich and wealthy and the constant spread of rumors and gossip.
· She is not treated well due to her wealth being from her dead father.
· Due to the bad treatment the only job she can get is an abusive office job.
· She grows increasingly frustrated with work and life in general.
· The abuse gets worse after trying to defend another coworker.
· This leaves a big impact on her and she gives up on trying to be a good person.
· Her energetic spirit out of college slowly disappears and she is left constantly mentally and emotionally drained after years in the city.
· The only people that will speak to her are her “friends” that constantly mistreat and manipulate her.
· She convinces herself that that was what friendship is like and that what she is going through is completely normal.
· At some point she embraces the lies and rumors to boost he position in society.
· She becomes well known at the club among the men.
· A nicely dressed young man starts taking interest in her and starts flirting.
· They hit it off but have nothing permanent and they keep names secret for now.
· It swaps to Hector’s POV and shows his perspective of hearing the rumors about her.
· After their casual fling Hector is forced by his father to work a regular job to learn what it’s like to be a normal office worker.
· By chance Savanna ends up as his boss and a messy office / romantic relationship ensues.
· Eventually with Savanna’s help Hector is able to move back up the ranks and regain his position as the CEO with his dad becoming the chairman.
· Savanna starts having problems with money and with her friends starting to hint about turning on her, Hector asks her out promising money and status even though they’re still in the early stages of their relationship.
· As they live together while dating they realize their true love for each other and open up to the other.
· Hector reveals his involvement in the criminal underworld and offers Savanna power within it.
· She trains and rises through the ranks and eventually takes over the gang Hector previously ran.
· Savanna’s Gang Leader Loadout: Traditional Katana reforged into tactical katana, secondary tanto, suppressed MP5K, and diamond wire.
· She becomes an amazing leader but starts to notice some strange details about the gang and its members like that they seem to be stronger and faster than most, she’s never seen them get hurt, they do not patrol during the day, and the gang seems to own many nightclubs and hospitals.
· Not wanting to sacrifice all she’s worked for she chooses to believe that the members use physical enhancements and that not patrolling during the day and the ownership of the strange businesses are due to personal choices.
· As they spend time together having the time of their lives there are subtle hints at Hector’s mental issues like possessiveness.
· His problems become more apparent as he starts drinking and becomes more violent.
· Fighting becomes more frequent and eventually Hector goes over the top and attempts to hurt her and in self-defense she slashes his face with a broken bottle.
· Feeling the pain and realizing how truly scared of him she was snaps Hector back and he realizes what he had done and when the wound heals instantly.
· He decides that for his mental health and for her own good that ending the relationship would be the best.
· Before he leaves he spills all his secrets about his family and gives her they key to a secret stash of documents in the gang lair about all known vampires.
· Hector Krieg is the oldest son of Mr. Krieg.
· Mr. Krieg became a vampire ten years ago and used his power and wealth to take over the city in secret.
· Almost every other official and person in power is also a vampire.
· Savanna panics and runs out of the apartment to process the information.
· She returns an hour later to find a final apology note along with Hector’s spare key and a gold plated pistol that the note says is to protect her now that she knows the secret of the city and that the pistol was custom made with a sister gun that Hector always kept on him.
· Hector usually used both but he left the gold one with her as a sign that he still loves her but thinks its best they shouldn’t be together.
· Savanna is constantly suspicious about her coworkers and “friends” until one day she lets something slip that she knows about the vampires.
· She’s not sure what to do until she witnesses a vampire murder a civilian.
· Realizing she must do something she brings her weapons and starts slaughtering the vampires at the club.
· After finishing everyone at the club the boss of the rival gang arrives.
· Eventually she falls since she’s only human and they take her prisoner and start talking about how to torture her.
· Before they can decide Hector busts down the door, followed by the rest of the gang, and starts slaughtering vampires with his silver and black pistols (he got a new black one to replace the gold one he gave to Savanna).
· Hector and Savanna have a short talk where he tells her that he is a mentally unstable, possessive, vampire, killer and that she should stay as far away from him as possible.
· Understanding he’s still not ready to reenter a relationship she lets him leave.
· She realizes that he’s trying his best for her and is willing to wait for him.
· Hector makes it his mission to kill all corrupt vampires.
· Hector’s Loadout: Dual 1911s (one black, one silver), Titanium knuckle dusters/ claws, and incendiary bombs.
· Savanna watches the city burn from her condo as Hector continues his rampage and no one can stop him since he’s one of the strongest vampires.
· Eventually he goes to his father’s company but when he faces his father he’s not angry at all.
· Rather his father is impressed by his genocide of the weak and praises him for it.
· Hector denies the praise because that was not the point of his rampage.
· His father manipulates him into joining him by promising to give him power.
· Hector thinks that he can use the power to protect Savanna in secret.
· Savanna becomes a fugitive vampire hunter and Hector sabotages from behind the scenes to make sure she is successful.
· Mr. Krieg finds out about Hector and Savanna’s former relationship and promises her protection to Hector.
· Savanna is brought to the skyscraper where she was told to meet up with a vampire defector.
· Turns out it was a trap by Mr. Krieg to capture her.
· He explains to Hector how Savanna is a risk to their superior kind and tells him to kill her.
· Hector refuses and is enraged by his father breaking his promise.
· Mr. Krieg is furious and shoots Savanna and orders guards to restrain Hector.
· Hector breaks through the guards and runs to Savanna.
· Right before she dies he tells her not to hate him and cuts himself and lets his blood flow into her mouth.
· Vampires in this world covert by having the victim consume their blood.
· Sidenote: Vampires in this world regenerate with blood and once they are out of blood can be killed like a regular human.
· Hector picks her up and jumps through the window and falls hundreds of feet.
· He manages to hide her but is captured due to his injuries.
· Savanna wakes up as a vampire and is devastated due to Hector’s sacrifice as she believes he died to save her.
· She retakes her gang that had lost its respect for her with ruthless efficiency by making an example out of anyone who resists with her new power.
· Vampire Hunter Savanna Loadout: Tactical Katana, Wakizashi with a serrated edge, Mossberg 590A1 with fléchette shells, and the golden pistol with hollow point or incendiary ammo.
· She uses it to systematically and brutally kill high status vampires.
· Years later she manages to fight her way up to the top of Mr. Krieg’s skyscraper.
· After killing him she discovers Hector is still alive but in an induced coma.
· She manages to wake him up by unhooking him from the machine.
· They embrace and have an emotional reunion.
· The destroy what’s left of the city and leave the ruins to venture into the wastelands of the apocalypse.
Chris Dreamer and the DELTA RUNE
No Thumbnail has been recovered, but would have a similar cover to the book "The Magic Finger" by Roald Dahl
Base: Roald Dahl books AU: Deltarune
"Chris Dreamer and the Delta Rune" is a series of children's fantasy-adventure books written by Roald Dahl in the 1980s and 1990s. The septology focuses on a human teenager named Chris Dreamer who lives in a world where they are the only human among various monsters and creatures. They team up with dinosaur-like class delinquent Susie Gaspar as a routine trip to find chalk for the classroom turns into a whirlwind adventure through "Lands of Darkness," accompanied by the mysterious Ralsei, and the trio grow and change as people throughout the books. The first entry, "Darker, Still Darker," was released in 1983, becoming a small hit, and ensuing entries "Brave New Dark World," "Late Night, Late Knight" and "A Very Busy Sunday" were released to similar acclaim. The series is now considered a cult classic for its powerful discussion of fantasy escapism, striking character designs, and surprising LGBTQ+ representation for its time, with Chris going by they/them pronouns with no real attention or controversy drawn to it, as well as some heavy lesbian coding of the friendship between Susie and her classmate Noelle Holiday.
Mr. N. Tenna, introduced in book 3 (Late Night, Late Knight), was a fan favorite. All of his dialogue even changed fonts when he wanted to emphasize words. One of the only controversies the books had was during book 3, when the Silent Knight slashed down Tenna near the end. Many younger fans worried about if he was okay, and turns out, he does survive, as proven in the next chapter of book 3.
Speaking of book 3, in a later re-release of the book (along with every other book) was sent into stores as rarer copies of the books in celebration of the 7th book being released. These re-releases included a bunch of little trinkets, including sheet music for one of the songs they played at the concert
Another controversy (nothing important, just a disagreement with fans)) is with the fact that the Silent Knight's identity is never revealed until a later book. Fans came up with many theories, and the one that sparked the most arguments was when people INSISTED that Papyrus from Dahl's older book, UNDERTALE, was somehow the knight.
Now, onto a happier note--The book was suggested by schools everywhere due to it being easy to pick up for younger readers whilst including a vast vocabulary, teaching readers more and more words from a younger age. One of the biggest instances in this is with Rouxls Kaard's dialogue, in parts like the bit where he chases after the running control crown and yells "I JUST HADST THEE BURNISHED!!" However, Rouxls' name was changed to "Reuls Kard" in later reprints due to it being difficult to figure out how it's pronounced. They also made a few jokes about it in book 2
Another fun fact about the book: Susie has some major character development in book 4, A Very Busy Sunday, primarily due to her relationship with Gerson Powell (which, in my opinion, is 100% a self-insert of Dahl himself)
AU by moniissilly (inspired by @wyntonyang and their artwork depicting Deltarune as a novel)
(excerpts under the cut)
I think I might end up making a fourth book. Idk yet tho.
Sketch of Zenia with decaying blossoms (Zenia)!

I sketched out Grace (Graceful feather gliding through river)
She's a mix between the Avian Tribe and the Swift Tribe. She doesn't have hydrokinesis or the special ears, but she does have the finned tail, webbed paws, and ability to breathe under water. She got the talon claws and wings from Avian. Her sight is better than most others but not as advanced as other members of the Avian Tribe.
New character alert!
Zenia with decaying blossoms. She's from the Followers of the Forest, she's got the power to make plants on a whim. She got kicked out and became a bounty hunter. She ends up meeting Grace at some point. Still working on that.
I don't really have an actual villain. The villain is bigotry. Not a specific bigoted character, but everyone (even the main characters) have at least some internalized intolerance.
