Day Nine: Martin & Pool (266 words)

"Can you get my back?" Martin turned around to pass the tube to Bojan who was rubbing his own sun screen into his face.

"Course!" Martin smiled at the white streaks still left on the others face. He made a note to rub it fully in after. Bojan squeezed a large amount into his hand and dropped the tube to rub his hands together before dramatically rubbing the cream messily around Martins back.

"Bojan!" He just let the laugh he was poorly hiding out, but continued to cover Martin's back and shoulders throughly.

"Wouldn't want you to burn now would we!"

"Might not burn, but I might get shaking baby syndrome!" Bojan gasped and slapped a still white hand to his chest.

"Martin! I would never dare hurt my precious boyfriend! How dare you!" Martin scoffed, playfully rolling his eyes.

"Uh huh, and you didn't drop Janči's guitar on my foot last Friday at practice?"

"That was an accident and you know it!"

"I don't know felt kinda targeted, like you didn't love me anymore." Bojan's jaw was wide open and shoulders shaking from laughter. He jumped up pointing at Martin.

"You take that back! No one can love you as much as me! And you know it!”

"You sure? Kris brings me breakfast everyday when we have an early study session." Bojan's eyes got big before he lunged at the older and grabbed him under his armpit and knees running towards the pool, jumping in as Martin shouted at him to be careful about slipping. The Cvjetićanin's all watching and laughing at the boys antics.

Bojan:I can't,this is important.

Martin:What?

Me: *writes sleepy Bojan once*

Me: Not enough. More sleepy Bojan scenes, I say!

Bojan’s eyelids grew heavier. It wasn’t that Martin’s chosen movie was boring, but he’d seen it before and the snacks had been eaten. Maybe if he closed his eyes for a moment, he could refocus.

Two seconds and he’d open them again. Martin even had a pillow on his chest for Bojan’s head to rest.

Yes. Two seconds.

He woke up to sunlight hitting his face. A body stirred beneath him and Bojan rose. The sudden loss of his weight caused a sleeping Martin to frown until Bojan returned to his position, nuzzling into Martin’s side as an arm found its place around his shoulders while slowly regaining consciousness.

Drowsy ‘good morning’s passed between them.

“Did we fall asleep here?”

Martin smiled down at him, nodding. “It’s better than you sneaking into my bed at night because the movie was too scary.”

“I only did that once!”

“Once a week.”

Bojan huffed. Last time he’d done that was two months ago. The fact that he’d never returned to his own bed after was a different matter altogether.

“Did you cover us with a blanket?”

Another nod.
