GRIEVING LUNGS | Overwhelmed by emotions this February? This is the time of the year many grieve a lost of a relationship. Perhaps a loved one passed or a marriage torn. We may reference it as a broken “heart” 💔 but in actuality, it’s our lungs that are grieving, that is if we do not acknowledge our pain: bring it front and center and choose to hold on. Emotions become pathological when emotions are intensely felt for a long period of time, unknowledges or repressed. So, if you put on a happy face for the world and bury your emotions 20 feet under or keep so busy as to numb out, but inside you’re crying 😭, don’t be surprised if you are constantly getting the flu 🤧, develop neumonía or a chronic cough.
