#bobateru

this is based off of a prompt i sent @novocaine-sea that i had an idea for and had to write. i hope you guys enjoy it even though i spewed it out in 15 minutes.

Looking down at his best friend, sometimes Bobata wondered why he decided to date him. Especially when he pulled weird shit like this. Who would ever think it was a good idea to go skating down a stair rail in a skirt? Without safety gear? Even if Terushima did look stunning in his fashion fuchsia (he insisted it was fuschia-personally, Bobata was convinced it was magenta, but who was he to argue?), this was a new level of idiocy in the scene before him. After falling off of the rail, Terushima had scraped his elbows and hands, as well as torn his his skirt. And he was much more worried about the latter.

“My skirt! Oh, it was such a beautiful shade, I won’t be able to find this color anywhere else. How will I ever stitch it back together?” The dramatic sobs that arose from his boyfriend made Bobata roll his eyes, and he hopped down the steps two at a time to reach the other. Eyeing the skeptically, he raised a single eyebrow at the antics Terushima displayed.

“You wouldn’t exactly be in this situation if you had just decided to skip wearing the skirt while you attempted to skateboard down a rail. Now look where your stupid plan got you, idiot.” There wasn’t much of a bite to his words, even Bobata could tell. But Terushima still bristled a little under the scolding.

“I may be an idiot, but I’m not stupid.” This made Bobata pause and stare at him. His eyebrows pushed in against each other and his mouth opened slowly in disbelief.

“Do you even hear yourself sometimes?” Terushima pouted and turned away, set on not paying any attention to his boyfriend’s words. A resigned sigh escaped Bobata’s lips, and he brushed the seat of his pants off before stretching his hands into the air.

“Fine, I’ll fix your skirt, but you’ll have to promise not to pull any stunts like that again, alright?” A small smile cracked Bobata’s stern façade as Terushima jumped up in excitement.

“Really? You will?” It was like an eager puppy and lit up in front of him and it took all Bobata had to not burst out laughing in the spur of the moment.

“Yup, but you need to promise.”

“Definitely, I promise!” Terushima held his pinky out, and he placed his own finger on top and twisted them together.
