terushima yūji wasn’t exactly known for subtlety. in fact, subtlety had probably packed up its bags and left his personality years ago, waving goodbye with tears in its eyes because the boy just couldn’t tone anything down. he was flashy, loud, shameless, and if he wanted the world to know something, he would make the world know it.

and right now, the thing he wanted the world to know was this: you were his girlfriend. not just a little bit his, not in some quiet hand-holding way, not in a “we’ll whisper about it in the corner of the gym” kind of way. no, you were his everything, and everyone else needed to get that through their thick skulls.

you should have known something was off when he refused to let you leave school right away after practice. instead, he kept tugging you toward the courtyard with this smug little grin on his face, hair slicked back like he’d just walked off the set of some questionable teen drama where he played the bad boy with a good heart.

“yūji,” you muttered, tugging on his sleeve, “why are we still here? it’s late.”

“patience, babe,” he said, bouncing on the balls of his feet like he was seconds away from sprinting across the field. “just, like, give it ten more seconds. i promise it’s gonna be sick.”

you narrowed your eyes. with terushima, “sick” could mean anything from “look, i bought you your favorite snack” to “look, i just spray-painted our initials on the principal’s car.” there was no middle ground.

then the first explosion went off.

you jumped, clinging to his arm instinctively, and he immediately wrapped an arm around your waist like this was all perfectly timed—like the universe itself was working for him.

“oh my god,” you whispered, watching as sparks exploded into the night, bright and golden against the dark sky.

but then, as the fireworks continued, your jaw nearly dropped to the ground. because this wasn’t just random colors and sparkles. no—this was letters.

your letters.

“why,” you said slowly, almost scared of the answer, “are there fireworks spelling my name outside the school?”

terushima beamed, as proud as a kid who’d just finger-painted the mona lisa. “because everyone needed to know you’re TAKEN.”

you blinked and jokingly asked. “…by who?”

he gasped, pressing a hand to his chest like you’d just wounded him. “by me, duh. who else would it be? oh—wait, don’t miss the finale. check it out!”

the last burst lit the sky in one giant blaze of colors, and you could’ve sworn your soul left your body for a second. the letters burned bright and shameless:

“Y/N + YŪJI 4EVER.”

your mouth hung open, and you turned slowly to him. “you—how—what possessed you—”

“romance, obviously,” he cut in, grinning so wide it looked like his face might split in two. “look at that. that’s eternal love, baby. sky-high. literally.”

you pressed both hands to your face, torn between laughing, crying, and calling the fire department. “yūji, what if the principal sees this? what if the police—”

“oh, relax. i got it all covered.”

“you paid someone to do this, didn’t you?”

“technically,” he said, with the kind of tone that immediately made you suspicious. “but i also might’ve kinda sorta learned how to set off fireworks from youtube tutorials, soooo…”

your heart dropped. “yūji. please tell me you didn’t—”

“babe,” he said seriously, holding your shoulders, “sometimes love requires risks. like, if i get expelled, it’s fine. i’ll just show up outside your house every day with flowers. they can’t stop me.”

your brain short-circuited. “you’d risk expulsion?!”

“worth it,” he said immediately, without a single flicker of hesitation. “i mean, look at you. you’re literally the best thing that’s ever happened to me. school? volleyball? all of that’s cool, but you? you’re, like… olympic gold medal level. hall of fame. no competition.”

you couldn’t even be mad anymore. your cheeks were burning, your chest aching, and you hated how much you adored this ridiculous boy.

“you’re crazy,” you whispered, but your voice cracked with affection.

“crazy for you,” he shot back, winking so shamelessly that you wanted to shove him.

instead, you buried your face into his chest, and he practically melted, wrapping you up in a hug so tight it felt like he was trying to fuse the two of you together forever.

“seriously though,” he murmured into your hair, softer now, “you don’t get it. i just… i want everyone to know you’re mine. i don’t ever want anyone thinking they’ve got a chance. because they don’t. not while i’m here.”

he pulled back, eyes locked onto yours, and for once, he wasn’t joking or grinning like a fool. he looked dead serious, and your heart stuttered.

“you’re mine,” he repeated quietly. “and i’m yours. forever. i’ll set the whole damn sky on fire if i have to.”

you swallowed hard, trying to breathe normally again. he was ridiculous, impossible, exhausting—

and he was yours.

the next morning, the entire school was buzzing. whispers in the hallways, laughter echoing down corridors, people shoving their phones in your direction with blurry photos of your name exploding across the night sky.

and of course, terushima strutted through it all like a king. his arm was slung over your shoulders, chin tilted up, grin dazzling.

“yeah,” he said loudly, not even pretending to be subtle. “that was me. she’s mine. keep walking, losers.”

“yūji,” you hissed, trying to hide your face.

he kissed your temple shamelessly. “better get used to it, babe. i’m never shutting up about you.”

and the thing was—deep down—you didn’t really want him to.

Great leadership skills, smart and cunning, knows how to keep his underlings under control, I can only see him as the perfect boss out of all other captains.

THE BOSS: kuroo.

CYBER SECURITY: kenma.

He's the hacker of the gang. Need to crack a code? He's handling it. Someone's trying to hack their system? Then they have brought this upon themselves. Need to access another gang's devices? A piece of cake for him.

As long as kenma is there, there's no worry of any cyber attacks bcz he's this reliable.

SPIES: so there are 3 groups of them.

(Yamaguchi, Kunimi, Konoha) Idk but I can imagine them being sneaky, easily sneaking in and out of any place, taking what they need without leaving a trace.

(Kiyoko, Saeko) They mostly handle old geezer gang bosses, they know how to use their beauty to make any guy lose his mind and give them any info they need without resorting to violence.

(Terushima, Atsumu) The male version of Kiyoko and Saeko, they know how to use their charm to get what they want from the ladies.

(Atsumu is smart but he's still a bit goofy and I can't help but feel like he may accidentally blow his cover if he doesn't lock in lmao)

PHYSICAL COMBAT: Daichi, Iwaizumi, Ushijima, Bokuto.

They're big, height or physique wise, and while iwaizumi may not be the tallest, he's surely strong enough. All of them in general can handle a close-range combat like it's nothing, I mean look at them, they can tackle anyone like they weight nothing. Basically beefcakes.

BACKUP FIGHTERS: Aone, Kyotani, Tanaka, Taketora.

First group wasn't enough? We have our backup group. Aone is built like a whole dam. The other 3 guys are just feral, they'll chew up anyone who gets in their way.

OBSERVING AND COLLECTING INFO: Tsukishima, Ennoshita, Asahi.

They're smart, observant, and can work fast. All they have to do is to observe their enemies in normal situations in order to collect the info they need, either for blackmailing or just to know the next moves of their enemies then they report it to the others. And they prefer this role because they don't have to clash with enemy gang members.
