The perfume smell was amazing. Light and airy, like someone spritzed it in the air and walked through the scent cloud. It wasn’t too strong and not too light; it was the right amount to smell without gagging. A perfect way to remember someone you didn’t want to forget.

Momo was dressed in a beautiful white dress that hugged her upper form before falling down after touching her waist. Ochako stood nearby in a red dress she found at the nearby thrift store, watching her. Thoughts and emotions sped through her.

‘This woman is wonderful!’ She thought. Wonderful; but not the way she used it with her friends or with her parents. No: Momo was wonderful. Beautiful, elegant, anything to describe her as better than normal.

It was only a few weeks ago they decided to start dating. Ochako had summoned up all her courage to ask her out and it still amazed her that she said yes. Not amazed, astounded! All the other options in the world, including Jirou, and Momo picked her. All those days in high school where she couldn’t get the words out of her mouth, along with the five year gap of Hero work, and now she was able to spit them out.

But she was a little worried about the condition of their upcoming dates. Ochako was doing fine with money after becoming a well known hero; the problem was that she was conscious of her own money. After living through the working class status with not a lot of opportunities, the hero job windfall was like winning the jackpot. But her experiences left an impact on her daily decisions, even one of the interviews had pointed this out.

She hoped that her partner would be okay with the frugal options. She just wanted to make her happy-

“Ochako?” Momo asked her, snapping her back to reality. “Ochako, are you ready to go?”

“Uh, yeah, I am,” Ochako answered, straightening up. “Are you okay with where we’re going? It’s not the greatest club…”

“Are you okay?”

“I am... Just nervous.”

“Hey.” Momo gently touched her arm. “You’re doing alright. Let’s just go have a good time.”

Ochako gazed at Momo before glancing at the hand on her arm. She suddenly remembered an interview that Deku did a few days back. One line jumped out from her memory to cheer her up.

‘No matter who you are, or where you’re from, just go for it!’
