April has been a month of fun readathons, and the last one I took part in was the #BnBClassicsReadathon hosted by @booksnbeyondbox As usual, I selected way more books than I could possibly read during the actual readathon but am going to definitely continue even after. The books I selected are ๐ฉ Villette by Charlotte Brontรซ ๐ถ The Merchant of Venice by William Shakespeare ๐ถ The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux ๐ฐ Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll ๐ฉ Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll ๐ฉโ๐ฆฐ Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery ๐ Brave New World by Aldous Huxley . . . The books I completed out of these are Villette - I loved reading this on a kindle reader as I could translate the many French passages easily, which was very helpful as I have quite forgotten the little bit of the language that I knew โบ๏ธ. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland - Audible has made the Scarlett Johansson narrated version available to all on their Stories page. I enjoyed it greatly and am going to look for other audiobooks narrated by her. The Phantom of the Opera - I am in the middle of this. Having watched the 25th anniversary production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's show on YouTube over the weekend, I was inspired to add this to my list. . . . Did you take part in the readathon?
