sGUESS WHAT RAVING REVIEW HAS ARRIVED?
(Hint: It's Come As You Are by Emily Nagoski)
As usual, I don't know where to begin. HOWEVER, I WILL START WITH THE FOLLOWING:
EVERY PERSON WHO IDENTIFIES AS A WOMAN NEEDS TO READ THIS BOOK.
This is one of the best times out there I kid you not. It is so validating and empowering. And, that should be enough to worth the read. This book isn't just about sex. It's about personal development and self-growth. It's about YOU. In every perfect, unique, and wholesome way imaginable.
It doesn't just take on one experience, it takes on several. It provides creative and insightful techniques while remaining backed by science. And the book is written in such a casual way, it legit reads like you're speaking to your best friend. And, to circle back, when I say backed by science. I mean BACKED by science. It uses research, and also gives you the studies conclusion, from the following areas: "anatomy, physiology, health and moral psychology, gender and media studies, and of course, so much more!" There's "metaphors, stories" and of course, Nagoski's "twenty years of experience" as a sex educator backed with more than enough years of science!
It's really so good. You learn so much about how you tick. Through thoughts, feelings, and I kid you not, THE EXERCISES provided by this lovely book. I mean, it's all relative of course, some things you might be like, "Oh God no." And that's okay. But, I'm telling you, there is something in here for EVERYONE.
