I wish there was someone on here that's nerdy in the same way that I am. It's hard to describe how people talk about fandoms on here but it's in a way I don't relate and the other half just posts gifs and fanart with no discussion.
I really want to nerd out with someone.
Honestly if I make the web comic about the two queer female blerds I’m probably just going to go through every single interaction my bestie mutual ( @jennrypan for reference go follow them just because I said so like bitch why the fuck aren’t you following them the fuck) have been through I’m making a list of possibly scenarios to just write and draw about and tumblr interactions are free material and you niggas need start giving me something I can use when you give me migraines
The list so far is
1. white people in fandom spaces not having any sense
2. Non blacks in fandom spaces not having any sense in general
3. Men in fandom spaces not having any sense
4. Black peoples issues in fandom spaces (not when we face racism when we make fandom hostile for each other like black men making fandom spaces hell for black women specifically)
5. Black peoples issues in fandom spaces (this one is the racism we face)
6. Power scaling and how it’s stupid and adds literally nothing to any conversations and is the same old same old same old like literally just repeating the same “they can’t beat goku” bullshit
7. Misogynoir in general
8. The erasure of blackness and white washing of black characters (Clawdeen and Jabber come to mind recently)
9. The struggles black cosplayers have to fucking deal with
10. the fact that every time we try to make a space of our own for specifically white people and non blacks always have to insert themselves and ruin everything (like that black girl gamer group that got targeted and harrassed after that white woman got mad that she wasn’t allowed to be let it, claimed she was just white passing and wasn’t black at all)
Let me know if there’s any more I should add because like I know there’s a lot
Riri and Xavier being blerds in both universes❤️

Drolta Tzuentes from Castlevania Nocturne. #BlackHistoryMonth
Nothing against Companion, but I'm tired of the robot (and the main user) always being white.
