I swear if the gachiakuta fandom follows in the same footsteps as the jjk fandom(or even ppl outside the fandom)in terms of demonizing women/afabs(and it’s especially gonna hit harder for us black women/afabs)for being horny for/wanting to be topped by the adult male characters(especially Enjin and Jabber)like they did with the fans of gojo, tenji, nanami, ect. and,
saying some purity culture bs about how these grown ass men need to be “protected” from ppl simping over and sexualizing them because they “don’t understand the character properly and only use them as sexy bait” because our female gooner brains are just too stupid to comprehend anything else other than porn./sar(even tho it’s common sense that u can appreciate a character while still also thirsting for them) im going to absolutely LOSE IT.
I literally just joined the fandom a couple of days ago and im already seeing ppl bitching about us fantasizing about wanting to be topped by Jabber and ppl saying that Enjin’s fanbase will be “insufferable/annoying like Gojo’s fanbase”(idk what it is with ppl constantly having gojo fans’ names in their mouths.)
Another thing that I’m not excited about/looking forward to is Jabber becoming overhated especially by anime dudebros like what happened with Mahito. I understand not liking and or hating Mahito cuz he’s a villain and cuz of the things he did but a lot of his haters be taking stuff too far sometimes and even shitting on his fans for liking him.).
It’s one thing to wanna see more fics where Jabber is a sub/bottom cuz he’s a masochist(I’ve actually come across a good amount of those on here). But taking out ur anger on ppl who write him as a top in some x reader stories is just so unnecessary and may radiate a little bit of internalized misogyny too cuz it’s mostly women/afabs(and black women/afabs especially too)writing these stories/scenerios.
