2022-06-25: Blasting Rod took a rare road trip to Yokohama to perform at El Puente with hosts Veritas Conc.75, and Leslie Southern Tone. Although promised a full hour set, recordings confirm something closer to an hour and a half. For once no one put a stop to the terrible Blasting Rod's aural assault. The 8-track Stereo tape and CD of the latest album Of Wild Hazel went on sale at this show.

There was a fantastic, receptive audience who stayed to the end and found themselves racing for the last train. Surprisingly nothing fundamental went wrong and the band left a good impression.
The following day we were treated to a fantastic view of Mount Fuji on the way back to Nagoya after a brief side trip to Yokosuka only to find that Armed Forces Radio and Dobuita Road ain't what they used to be.
