For FAILBack Friday, here's an image from #BlantonSoundSpace in 2018 I might have posted if I hadn't missed focus on that synth. My favorite image from the roll is one I shot outside to finish the roll of #TriX400, which I exposed at EI 1250 and processed in #diafine. I used an autofocus #NikonN80 with a #Nikkor50mmf18AF. Here's a TBT to the first time I tried to shoot film at #BlantonSoundSpace in April 2014. What I didn't know then, but know now are a) 400 ISO film is too sir m slow to shoot in the galleries and b) shooting film at SoundSpace is just kinda stupid. This was #KodakUltramax400 exposed with a #NikonSeriesE50mmf18 mounted to a #NikonFM10. I kinda like the scratches now, but I was very disappointed when I scanned the film. The autofocus of the #NikonN80 I used to expose that roll of #TMaxP3200 struggled in some of the dimmer rooms at #BlantonSoundSpace. I think the grain makes some of the out-of-focus shots interesting, though. Friday night, I processed that roll of #TMaxP3200 I exposed at #BlantonSoundSpace. I developed in #LegacyProL110 for ten-and-a-half minutes, agitating every thirty seconds. It didn’t come out as contrasty as I expected, but, boy howdy, is it grainy. Shooting a band situated in front of those windows is always tough.
