Imagine being the only person in Hogwarts that Blaise finds interesting.
You sat beside Blaise for breakfast most days, especially when Draco was off doing whatever secretive thing that Draco does and when Pansy was off following him around like a lovesick puppy. You were much closer to the dark skinned man than you were the other two, so this arrangement suited you perfectly.
“What did you get up to last night?” Blaise asked, buttering a piece of toast while you picked at your eggs, not feeling very hungry this morning.
“The usual.” You sighed, bored. “Figured out a charm to put on Millicent’s cat so that it would different animal sounds rather than meow. Made me laugh when she came in and the beast made elephant sounds. Oh - and then Pansy came in to bed and it oinked, that was pretty good. What about you?”
“Wish I got to see that,” Blaise grinned at you. “I don’t think anyone else would have thought of that.”
You shrugged, feeling modest about your creativity. “I was bored of watching you and Draco play Chess. Ever since Weasley won that game first year, he’s been obsessed over it. If I have to hear about one more game-”
“You’ll turn his prick into a pawn, I remember that.” Blaise laughed. “You’re the most interesting person I’ve ever met, y/n.”
