Sucks you didnāt get it! The prompt was how would tfp Wheeljack, Ratchet, Optimus, and Ultra Magnus finding to their cybertronian so thatās wounded (bonus angst points cause they canāt be saved)
Iām leaving it open to go either way, so you can end it however you want ;) But Iāll put a quick description of how theyād react to survival and death.
Optimus knew he shouldnāt have allowed you to do the mission solo. You had reassured him that you could handle it, it was no big deal. You told him he needed more faith in you. When you called the base for help, he was the first one through the bridge, rushing towards you and ignoring any remaining threats. When he saw you on the ground, servos pressed to a wound and trying to stem the flow of energon coming from too close to your spark chamber. He very carefully picks you up to rush you to Ratchet, not caring about anything else right now. The mission can wait. The rest of the team can hold their own for now. You needed help now. As he reached the ground bridge, he saw your optics go dim, and his own spark almost froze. He didnāt have to say a word, Ratchet already getting the med bay ready. If you pulled through, and you had to, Optimus wasnāt going to let you go solo on missions for a very long time. Should you go offline, he is even more stoic and silent for a long time, admittedly more harsh when fighting. He tries to take on as much as he can, not wanting to risk losing anyone else to this war.
Ratchet always got nervous whenever youād go on missions, and this was the perfect example of why. When you called to tell him you were hurt, he could hear the pain in your voice. Within moments he had the ground bridge open and was rushing through with his medkit, terrified of how heād find you. What he found wasnāt encouraging, you propped up to be sitting semi-upright, servos shakily trying to stem energon flowing from your chest. His expression hardened as he knelt down and set to work tending to you in silence. He canāt lose you. If heās successful in saving you, you wonāt be going on any missions for a long time, and what missions you do go on youāll be accompanied by at least one other Autobot. If he fails...he canāt handle it. Heās always overworking himself, avoiding recharge for as long as he can. When he tries, he just re-lives failing you over and over again. His fatigue makes him snappier, and he loses any confidence he had in his skills as a medic. If he couldnāt save the one person who matters most to him in this Primus forsaken war, what can he do?
Ultra Magnusās reaction is delayed, having to process what happened. The two of you were on a mission, and got separated by some āCons. No big deal, you could handle it. When he turned to help you, he looked just in time to see you get blasted in the chest by one of the few remaining āCons. Quickly dispatching of them he rushes to you to assess the damage, contacting Ratchet for a ground bridge and to get the medbay ready. Youāre leaking energon like a faucet, and heās trying so hard not to panic. Heās finally letting someone close to him, learning how to be more social and open, he canāt lose you now. He couldnāt handle it. If you pull through, he is always right by your side and tries to convince Optimus to keep you out of missions for as long as possible. However if you go offline, he goes right back to how he was when he first joined the team, but even worse. Stricter, more intense training, snappier. One wrong move means death, and youāre proof of that. He isnāt going to let anyone else die on his watch.
Everyone told Wheeljack that explosives were dangerous, especially if he had any allies. It didnāt used to be a problem, until he started to fight alongside you. You two worked well together, and you were usually really good at getting out of the way. However the bomb ricocheted further than he had expected and was too close. You noticed it too and lunged, knocking Wheeljack over and shielding him from the explosion, though he was still disoriented for a bit. When he focused he was quick to check on you, his energon running cold when he saw your frame split open and leaking energon. You were still online, thank Primus, but not for long. He carefully picks you up, whatever he was after completely forgotten as he rushes you to the Jackhammer. He needs to get you to Team Prime, to Ratchet. They can help you. He doesnāt realize it, but the whole way heās apologizing to you. When youāre better, he stops using explosives unless itās at a much greater distance, and heāll try to make you stay in the Jackhammer. He canāt risk losing you too. Heās lost most of the Wreckers already, he doesnāt want to add your name to the list. If you go offline though...heās even more reckless. Heās snappier, more violent. Even Bulkhead struggles to get him to relax at all, and he clams up entirely.
